Thanks for posting. I still say Leia began focusing The Force before the impeding impact of the blasts that destroyed the bridge, perhaps 'wrapping' herself within a protective Force aura. Afterwards she used the Force to 'Mary Poppins' her way back onto the ship. That scene remains one of the best for me of all the Star Wars films combined. I stack it around Yoda's saving Anakin and Obi-Wan from the stone pillar in Attack of the Clones. That scene answered my primary LONG time question whether Leia became a trained Force sensitive after the events of Return of the Jedi. I had long hoped both seeing her master The Force and showing how powerful she could become.

oh. wait. my bad.

Stuff you might not know. ET"s are seen in Star Wars

lol. Yep. I remember that well. :muttley:It is more funny to me because I have never seen ET: The Extraterrestrial from start to finish. Just not my cup of tea, which is saying something because I am a huge Steven Spielberg fan.

I may be in the minority, but one of my favorite scenes of all the movies was Yoda fighting Count Dooku.

I would say you are in the majority. That scene runs concurrent and just before the scene I described. I actually rank your favorite example on my personal list above the one I posted earlier. However, I do rank the Yoda/Palpatine faceoff in Revenge of the Sith above either of those. And the previous two examples do not come close in my book to their final showdown. :)

It would be safe suggesting the video's creator could shorten its title to "Mark Hamill Hates Star Wars". He has been a vocal critic of Star Wars and everything about it (including fans) his entire career. Personally, I do like how he envisioned The Force Awakens at the 1:40 mark, which would have introduced Luke earlier in that film. His onstage recollection of the events leading up Disney buying Lucasfilm in the very next scene was extremely interesting. All-in-all, some of the video contains edited blurbs that are out of context in relation to the video title but a good bit of it does illustrate his views of The Last Jedi specifically.

He should kiss the butt of anyone who would put his face on screen. I'm surprised he isn't being sued for some of his comments.

He is unlikely to get sued now at his age if he has not already been sued. There is a good bit of Mark Hamill recorded commentary about his thoughts about Star Wars out there. He has always been critical and cranky, which makes him likely adorable to some of the franchise's fans at this stage in his life, lol.

In my opinion, he was more critical about his association and fame with Star Wars than William Shatner ever was with Star Trek. At least Shatner mellowed somewhat about the whole thing as he got older while Hamill got worse.

I will give Hamill props for one thing he has ever done. His voicework as The Joker for Batman: The Animated Series was excellent.

Hamill is now the Winston Zeddemore of Star Wars. He'll grumble, gripe, and complain about anything and everything on his own time, but when it comes to getting paid, he'll show up and say and do anything they want him to.

At this point, even Harrison Ford has developed a better attitude than Mark Hamill.

Some of the light saber scenes were cringeworthy and goofy to me.
That was tops on my list.
Have there been any lightsaber scenes more 'cringeworthy and goofy' in your opinion than Luke and Kylo's faceoff on Crait in TLJ? :muttley:

What happens if Kathleen Kennedy gets a hold on other franchises to ruin? Captain Kirk & Star Trek? Six Million Dollar Man? Rambo? Predator? etc.

You mean a guy, who was barely removed from being in waste management, wielding a lightsaber versus Lady Brienne of Tarth, uh, I mean Captain Phasma and her sparkly staff stick?

Okay. I will acknowledge that was a worse example. Way worse in fact but is that example an actual lightsaber duel between two Force sensitives? Those are lightsaber duels I was referring.
