Agreed. It's pathetic. It is almost the anti Romo. He got so much credit for wins and but when he lost, it was everyone else. Dak gets zero credit for wins but all the blame for losses. We have the few leaders of the anti Dak crowd who make this board un-readable at times with their hatred towards one player. I get hating the coach. I think majority of us do now. But Dak? He's did nothing but show leadership and win. Has a playoff win now under his belt and is still growing. He's a 4th round pick that was thrown into the fire from the jump. 3 winning seasons in a row to start his career. Every single bad pass is scrutinized. Do people not watch any other games? Every single QB, even the greats have terrible throws.

There are actually people on here who scoff at Dak's 4th quarter against the Eagles at home to win a huge game because he should have put them away in the first 3 quarters.

This board isn't even fun to read anymore because of the amount of Dak threads after games and just the discussion of Dak in general.

But it's why this fanbase is mocked across the nation. We think a backup RB who has had a few good preseason games can easily now replace arguably the best RB. And many think Dak is one of the worst QBs in the league.

Most of the Trolls don't even understand where Dak came from or what kind of QB he was. He was NOT a pocket passer type QB in college. Didn't need to be. If the first or 2nd read wasn't wide open he could just take off and run over people. Never had to be patient within the pocket or worry about pressure. He would just take off.

So it goes to reason that he needed to work on being more relaxed in the pocket, handling pressure, and delivering the ball quicker. His first year in the league, the line was sooo good there was little pressure on him. He really didtn have to deal with it then either. Then the Oline issues and the pressure started coming. All while his pass catchers were tanking. He had adversity. In literally a 32 game stretch he has gotten much much better at it. I think the kid is ready to take off this year.

Dak is good, but so are most backups. He's not worth top five salary. I really like Dak, but if one has to go to sign the others, Dak is the one most easily replaced. Even Rush can hand off the ball and throw for 220 a game.

Once again (and again and again) salary is not a position ranking, nor can it be. The only way it could come close to that is if every QB were an unrestricted free agent negotiating a new contract in the same year under the same market conditions. Salary is based on what teams are willing to pay at a given point in time. It's supply and demand economics.

Why on earth would you want to downgrade the chemistry between the current QB and Amari Cooper? Dak and Cooper already have better chemistry than Carr and Cooper EVER had. You don't mess with that and don't tell me it was just the "team". Carr is erratic as hell.

its hypothetical

reality I dont want Dak at anything more then 30 but 32.5 should be the absolute final number he said Dak at 40 Carr at 25..Ill take Carr TY

Carr with this Oline, Zeke and Amari? Pollard ?

we will see what Carr really is this year, He improved last year and with new players and 2nd year with Gruden., Carr might not be available if he plays well..its Hypothetical since both are under contract, For now

so what Dak at any price is ok with you? seriously? hes 25mil year player maybe middle 2nd tier wanting RW money is ridiculous..I dont care about market and QB blah blah blah..

Carr has been surrounded by talent. He had Amari along with beast mode. He’s been inconsistent which is why the Raiders were looking at QBs this past April. As for Pollard I would tap the brakes on him until he plays against starters. It’s been “reported” that Dak is asking for 40 million. He’s not going to be paid that nor would I want him to be paid that but he deserves more than Wentz. Fans need to stop trying to replace Dak with QBs that haven’t been as good as him.

I don't think the OP was necessarily saying we should trade Dak for Carr, I think he was saying we should let Dak walk as a free agent and simply "go get Carr". As if it's that easy to just "go get" whoever we want. Hell, if it were that easy I would get somebody besides Carr.

That's why i was confused. Carr has 4 years left on his deal. So if you're saying let Dak walk and trade for Carr then a lot of it would come down to what the trade would cost. If Carr is a free agent he would get basically the same money as Dak.

IF in a hypothetical situation , Carr asked for $25M & Dak $40M

I would sign Carr in a heartbeat ., They are really similar in stats .

What do you guys think? Personally i'd rather have Carr, i think he can thrive in the right offense. Much like Amari, i think things have gone stale for him in Oakland and he needs a fresh start. Imagine this offense with a QB who can actually put the ball in the right place and not make receivers have to adjust when they are open. We can actually have potential 35 yard gains be 35 yards and not 18-20 yarders because the ball wasnt put in the right place...
Perfect!

If i could have Tom Brady for $5 million or Dak for $50 million, I would take Tom Brady. I would also get Aaron Rodgers as a backup.

I've never heard anyone call a Garrett offense the "right offense" lol. Interesting lol. Go get a inferior quarterback and pay him 25 million a year so he can Amari Cooper can have the great chemistry they had last year.

Some of you guys need your threads reviewed before it actually makes it to the forum.
Lol i be smokin weed and drinking and some of these threads stay killing my buzz

What is going to change once the season starts? The same trolls will shut up after a good game and be all over the board after a pick or a loss. Even when Dak brought us back in the 4th quarter for a do or die win, the trolls would complain that he wouldn't have had to win the game for us if he played better the first 3 quarters. LOL
Hahahhaa... True.. But, there's always hope. And this thread is completely ridiculous. Carr? Really. Unreal.
