WAIT $63M guaranteed instead of $50M!?!?

WHO THE HELL CAN POSSIBLY THINK THIS IS ANYTHING BUT AN AWFUL CONTRACT!?!?!?!

"We can cut him after five years with no hit". Yeah the same with every single ****ing contract in the NFL, but most are 2-3 years max. Yet that's being celebrated? Jesus.

Unless they are giving him 50MM guaranteed beyond the 13MM that was due for the next two years under his old deal.
So that was new money guarantees of $50M....
Holy **** we are the dumbest team in the league.

I'm logging off.

$50 million was the extension that starts in 2 years. $13 million is still left over from his rookie contract and runs 2 more years. So it's basically 5 years for $63 million contract. It's a brilliant contract. The CBA runs out in 2 years and the salary cap is expected to rise. The big money for Zeke's contract, Collins contract and Jaylon's contract all start in 2 years when the salary cap is higher. It was a brilliant off-season for the Cowboys signing all these extensions.

It’s not brilliant.

You just handed a TB 63MM guaranteed when the highest to date was 45MM guaranteed.

It's a moronic contract.

The SBA argument exploding has got to be the worst one on here.
*signs Dak for $50M a year*. "But the CBA is going to explode". THAT DOESNT MAKE IT ANY BETTER OF A CONTRACT

The best RB in football is averaging $12.6 million per year over the next 5 years. It's the perfect deal for both sides. Keeps our young core together for the next 5 years.

Does this move hurt the boys flexibility moving forward? Probably not..is it our money..nope.do rb’s get this kind of money nope..but if the boys are trying to win a super bowl then they need Zeke, and if they win a super bowl nobody is going to care much 2-3 years from now..there are pros and cons to this deal, but for the time being Zeke is back and this team has a legit shot at the super bowl

Has anyone seen details yet? How many years before we could get out of it etc? Just wondering bc we’ve been doing a really good job with recent contracts structuring
