Certainly, there's no doubt but what Trubisky's performance was lacking in matching the expectations of many fans. I'm inclined to credit the Packers' defense for that to a great extent. The relentless pressure that Trubiskey had to deal with at the hands of Green Bay's DL was, simply put, immense.
There's good reasons why Aaron Rodgers complimented them so at game's end. They were superb! Ya gotta give credit where it's due! Green Bay's defense is much improved, without question.

If you really want to bag on Trubisky though...please name how many pro bowlers he has on the oline, rb, and wr. Pretty sure that number is 0.

In comparison, Dak has 5.

It saddens me when people can’t use logic and make rational arguments. It’s like we’re moving toward that movie Idiocracy. If you don’t love every Cowboy and every Cowboy move, you’re a “hater” and you should find another team to root for.
But I thought RBBC was the BEST.. I watched them be confused on who to use.. they gave up Howard to use Terek brought in a 3rd round RB who they traded UP for and a FA..3 RBs but couldn't figure out which bets combo to use in what situations ..they have good Rbs but RBBC doesnt always work..

People who think paying EE was a bad move, watch teams with 3 backs, sure they can put up yards but they dont EFFECT the defense like an Elite back..if they had a Zeke back there that D would not have Ted off on Mitch all night, respecting both run.pass and block of a guy like Zeke changes the game plans and he flat our weard down defenders by the 4th quarter....

I did notice they didnt have much at WR but really they were what 11-5 playoff team last year with the same group? that defense..only one FG AT HOME?

I say its first game and not enough data to judge..

The Packers defense could be much improved. They spent some cash upgrading some weaknesses, such as the pass rush, and it showed, at least for one game. They put a lot of pressure on Trubisky.

I just watched a team in over division two years ago have a Top 5 rushing offense, win a SB and they ran out LaGarrett Blount, Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement.

Elliott doesn't change that outcome last night because Trubisky was just off. Stop.

He looked awful and isn't very good IMO. However, the Bears are going to pay the position and not the talent. They will give him around $30M AAV while Bears fans rationalize it by saying, "who else are they going to get?" Or "if they let him walk, then who replaces him?"

Wish the owners would put a premium on talent and not the position a player plays.

I never said he was better, I know that. I thought, and still do think Tribiskey sucks. I also still think Dak is average.
That average QB has the most 4th quarter come backs than every QB in the league.....yeah Dak sounds sooo average

Trubisky is severely reigned in by his HC for a reason. WE SAW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE PASSES. He is inaccurate as HELL. He threw an int IN CRUNCH TIME..IN THE ENDZONE. Dak is completely opposite..Dak may have a mediocre game..but in crunchtime,he is nails with ball placement and making his reads. He craves those moments. Trubisky looked afraid.

Like I said..Dak craves the moments where a play needs to be made. Trubisky… is NOT DAK. The differences were clear cut last night.

so those 3 RBs are just Jags? NO they weren't they just weren't making the big money, what happened the following year?..yes Zeke does change that game for either side..you just stop..they were better with Howard and Terek then those 3 last night..but thanks for strengthening my argument ZEKE is as good as 3 Rbs lmao.. Zeke contract wasn't ridiculous, he deserved it, move on..

time will tell but dont tell me how you know it wouldn't have helped when you really dont have clue any more then I do but throwing 44 passes using 3 RBs, if they had zeke could have been more efficient 30 passes and more runs..Game was close no reason to huck the ball all night..sometimes having 2-3 backs takes the Backs ability to get in rhythm, also find one of them that will be hot that night and the OC just doesnt know how to use them and in the end just went to the pass all night because of it..the elite back you trust all 3 downs and just let him go and know what you have, makes playcalling easier..

Oh so now Ajayi, Clement and Blount are studs?

LOL. They were far from elite backs. They were just solid, middle of the road type TBs.

It's funny how you guys get so Zeke'd up you just ignore evidence that doesn't work in your favor. The majority of recent SB participants have largely done so without having one true, elite, top level back. We are going to try to buck that trend. Hope it works out.

Trubisky looked pretty bad but Rodgers didn’t look that great either. Still only first game of the season and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cowboys come out a little flat too.

LOL... somebody clearly has no idea what a game winning drive is defined as. Or would you care to tell us how many times Dak has went 86 yards with less than two minutes and one TO left for the TD?

Not me, that would be Pro Football Focus that has no idea, I guess, because that’s what I sourced and linked to.

;)

But hey, I’m sure you are smarter then the most widely used and respected football analysis site there is.
