Morning, Pops and pen pals. It's game day! Cowboys vs. Foreskins games are almost always a crap shoot so buckle up your chin strap. I'd love to see the Cowboys blow them out like they did the Giants. Have fun and may you be blessed today.

There's another tropical storm around the Bahamas right now. It's called Humperdink or something like that. They're watching it to see if it amounts to anything. No comment.

I think it's called Humberto. I've been tracking it and according to NOAA it brought winds and rain to Abaco island which was hit hardest by Dorian, but missed us on Grand Bahama Island.

Afternoon Pops and friends. Spoiler alert for those that were abducted by aliens while the game was on... WE WON!!!!!! I don't feel like slapping anyone right now. It's more like "I'm a Cowboys fan, slap yourself." The stadium had the most beautiful seas of blue with people cheering at the right times. Away games usually means people cheer at the wrong time, but not today! This might be addressed on the news in that heathen territory. Looks like fans of the sleeping giant have awakened. About time, many had their beauty sleep revoked.

Oooooh Dabz, you discovered another place he's been banned from. Now we know why. I don't know if it was the bloody Mary's at second breakfast or the ones at Elevensies that got him.

I'm on break from a project I've avoided for years. My dryer door opens the wrong way and I'm out to fix it! I started to when I first got it but there's a metal screw that's jammed in and I can't get it out. I hope I can work around it, but I won't find that out until I pick back up where I left off. I had to rework all the innards in the door. As usual, I've got left over screws. I had some spare parts, but I think I jammed them into the right places. I just hope I'm still talking to myself after all is said and done. Time to do some Googling, have a good Sunday everyone.

We didn't get the game in our market. I watched the highlights online. Pretty happy about having 2 wins under our belts. Hoping I get to see next week's game.

Evening Pops and friends. Heck of a game by the Cowboys. They were not as dominant as last week but there was no doubt we had the much better team. I like our chances the rest of the way.

Since I’ve been retired, I have learned to like Mondays. The lines are shorter on weekdays during work hours. It’s easier to find parking spots. You get faster service at restaurants. You youngsters keep at it, your day will come

Watch that reversing doors on appliances, girl. I did that with one of my fridges and have to climb in from the back to open it. Not entirely bad though, gives me the chance for a quick eyeball on the beer and wine inventory so I don't get nervous and get up in the middle of the night to keep rechecking it.

With you there but my not being depressed on Sunday nights leads to a better Monday. I've always envied people that actually liked work or got some intrinsic reward from that.

Yep but that was one hell of a game they played. Ryan, THE most overrated QB in the NFL, kept opening the door for them.

At one point, that game looked like that scene form "The Replacements" when they all just freak and start pounding on the other players. That game was a war of attrition for the Eagles and Pederson is still one of the best at not letting one lost player derail him.

Morning Pops and friends. I worked 40 years, 5 months and 10 days for the same company. I liked 40 years of it. I got compensated for my time and the company got compensated for my labor as well. I like to think they came out ahead on this deal and they should. The last 3 months or so was really nice because I was a lame duck employee. No more “action items” for me during meetings. No more “volunteering” to be on task teams. No more “goals” for next year. It was really nice

I miss most of my ex coworkers and still keep in contact with some. It’s a dog eat dog world out there but it does pass. My stress went from 150 mph to about 25 mph

My job now is taking car of my mama. I love this job

Nice game by the Boys but man, I am kinda not liking what I'm seeing out of our Defense, especial late.

I feel like it's time for an "On This Date.....". OK, on this date in 1680, the Village of Shawmut, in Massachusetts, changed it's name to Boston. Imagine, if you will, if the name had never changed. Shawmut Red Sox...... LOL..... No. How bout the Shawmut Showboats!

What a beautiful day Pops and friends! We won our game and a lot of teams I was rooting against lost. Bonus coverage! Rothlessbooger is out for the season!!! Added bonus, Saints lost (good for Cowboy fans in this area). Extra curricular coverage, Eagles L A W S T! My football picks sucked soggy cocoanuts, but I can still revel in the teams that lost. Disclaimer: I don't wish injuries on any player (out loud), but will shamelessly enjoy some.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. I am finding such tranquility sitting on the balcony with my 1st cup of coffee and just letting the sound of the gentle waves carry my imagination anywhere it wants to go. I really struggle to find words for it and wish I could convince my wife to move here full time. Not trying to rub anything in or anything like that, but it just makes me so happy.

By the way, if you don't mind a sales pitch, but if any "Morning Pops" folks ever want to rent the place (during the non-hurricane season) I will give you a special price.
