A little regret on Taco cut?

Taco was a LDE/SDE and he wasnt unseating DLAW.
The unfortunate thing is they couldn't trade him for value.

He is where he needs to be playing for a tanking team and getting snaps and growing up.
Quinn is a far better fit on our DL but Taco may be in this league 10 years. You can't teach size.

No ill will from me towards Taco who was juts a bit sensitive and needy. Rod wasnt about that and I get that at his age who wants to babysit.
This pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter.

I was tough on him but he clearly is showing some talent now in Miami.

He may have been a headcase and had an issue with Marinelli, but sometimes, you cant be sooooo stubborn with guys like this.

It's not going to be a good look if Taco finds himself in another city. That's a direct reflection on how maybe it's time Marinelli needs to move on. I wouldn't get too excited yet with Taco. He could nosedive shortly.

But if he keeps this up, not a good look for Sir Rod.

He showed talent in the pre-season too. I know there is a balance these coaches face headache vs talent but it seems we really could use more talent. if the locker room leaders are strong, guys like taco won't have much of a voice. would be a good backup.

Another game, another sack for MIA. Still think we cut bait too early because of a personality conflict with Rod. Need to lessen Rod’s influence on personnel.
I am asking, because I have no idea. What are the differences in scheme and responsibilities, Dallas vs Miami?

No. You might want to watch his game footage before lamented his loss...

This is his sack from this week. He is #96.

When we let Taco go and he signed with Miami, I went to phinshaven (forum) and congratulated them and told them they kind a player with tons of upside and I thought he was going to end up being very very good. I told them I blamed our coaching and they we're lucky to have him. So far, I was right...
Actually, so far you were wrong.

I never have associated the word BLOSSOM with STRONG. When I hear the word 'blossom', I envision Spring, flowers and The Masters. Strong...not so much.

and yet there was no mutterings or evidence from the other players that he was a terrible anything.

DLaw was very critical of Taco in 2 interviews that I saw.

DLaw praised the work ethic of DE Armstrong while basically saying that Taco didn't have a good work ethic and didn't always play hard.

The stupidity of this forum is breathtaking sometimes.

Oh Taco had a few sacks...who cares if they were 8 seconds into the play. And let's ignore pressures and run-stopping and every other attribute a DE has

PFF 2019 scores
Lawrence 79.1
Quinn 62.5
Armstrong 62.4
Crawford 58.2

Taco 51.3

I wish Dallas would move on from Gregory. He is a waste of time and can't be counted on. Really do you think if given yet another chance it will be different? I would hope so but being burned by him time after time there in no way I would bring him back. This is one issue I disagree with Jerry and the organization
I don't want you to be right, but I'm afraid you are.

He never showed up in Dallas so it's not like anything is lost. What a guy does with one team versus another doesn't mean anything. There have been plenty of bad fits in the NFL's history. Taco was a bad fit. While I won't claim to know the reason, I have my suspicions. The only thing you have to do in order to be loved by Marinelli is work hard. If Taco wasn't in Marinelli's good graces, it would seem that he had nobody to blame but himself.

Heck no I’m not....I don’t care what he does in MIA he wasn’t doing squat for us and didn’t seem to care either,

Who cares, he plays for the worst team in the NFL. On any decently staffed team he's a backup.

Thanks for posting this. Taco wasn't at all responsible for the pressure on the QB. Other players just chased him until he finally ran into Taco's arms.
