That’s silly. Please stop. Romo was on a team with a dozen other Pro Bowlers on it. He was on a team with 5-6 other Pro Bowlers in 2014. And what makes this current Oline and defense so much better? Because it absolves Romo and provides an excuse to continue lying to yourself? Romo was as big a problem as anyone else on those underachieving teams. Please stop the BS

That’s not throwing someone open. It’s throwing a a high ball to a receiver who was good at catching those. This is the best example you could come up with? LMAO. Every quarterback in the league does that. I thought you guy’s defined throwing a guy open as making passes before he comes out of his break while being tightly covered. Dez just out jumped those dudes. Dak’s pass time Beasley last season was more an example of throwing a WR open than this. Lol.

with that kind of pressure, dak would have run into one of his offensive linemen from panic.. then would have heard, "everybody was hurt" "we don't have any talent" smh..

Yep Panic Sally syndrome would have him running and probably fumbling the ball while being sacked.....If Dak doesn't have time galore back there our offense resembles the Keystone cops...... Field Goal anyone??????

yep it's always somebody's else fault. I don't think I have ever read one post where they said it was Daks fault. "coaches, WR, RB, the offensive line isn't the best in the NFL" seems like sooner or later they would run out of excuses. Heck no.

We should hold an Easter Egg challenge to see if anyone can find a Dak play even remotely close to this where he has to evade, reset his feet and then deliver a ball that requires some loft and accuracy (not just a fly route). We may be here a while...

First Romo. Then Prescott. Going on two full decades of far too much criticism directed at one position and (by comparison) far less criticism towards the rest of the roster and coaching combined. That is 'fair' criticism that accounts for everything pertaining to a team sport is all about.

The sheer definition of tunnel vision. On crack.

This isn’t quite accurate.

Romo has a good offensive line in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He also had a good offensive line in 2014 and 2015.

The cowboys defense was good from 2007-2009.

Now, Tony Romo imo was never the problem with those teams. Especially from 2010-2013. Those offensive lines were horrendous, as were the defenses.

But people underselling the talent that Romo had on the team from 2007 to 2009 is just nonsense. The cowboys overall were one of the more talented teams in the league. Remember 44-6 against the eagles? Win and in. And Romo player like dog crap and we got embarrassed? I remember that one.

People around here also act like Romo never had bad games. It’s like he has turned into this mythic figure that was just amazing from start to finish.

That’s not true either.

Dak's great defense Failed him big time in the playoffs. And it's been nonexistent this year until the Philly game.
Daks leading the offense failed them too. He took about half a qtr to score a td when we are down. What kinda junk is that? The defense had the more visually bad day I'll give you that but the offense wasn't doing much themselves in that game.

Exactly. But these clowns get mad and report me when I expose their agenda. Let’s be honest. Why else would they berate Dak for winning? The bs is more than obvious. But I will stop it short before these cowards begin their sob stories to the mods. Lol
Life has to suck to be this insecure like, yourself. I know what this comes from but still sad.

I dont really consider average and below average as good when it comes to defenses or olines.

Daks had top 5-10 of both almost all 4 years. Also an elite rb. Romo had a good rb 2 years.

The defense wasn’t average to below average during those 2007-2009 years. The offensive line wasn’t average to below average in 2006, 2007 and 2008 or in 2014 and 2015.

So again, you’re using revisionist history.

Romo had good teams for several seasons.

They were though. Just saying he had a good team like twice
