Not impressed with Dak in the last month 1/2

Mahomes was picked at 10. Watson at 12. Brady in the 6th round. Wilson in the 3rd. Rodgers I forgot but t was a later round. It’s perfectly reasonable and profound to get a QB at 17 in the first round. QB is a problem. Maybe not a #1 problem, but definitely in the top 5 or 6 problems behind coaching, defense, and special teams.

I’m tired of this “drafting is a crapshoot” narrative. Did that stop the Chiefs from overthrowing Alex Smith to get Mahomes? Nope. Did it stop the Texans from getting Watson? No. Did it stop the Ravens from getting Jackson? No. Need I continue? Teams take RISKS. Risks PAY OFF majority of the time. Dallas must’ve really gotten into your head because you’re settling for mediocrity just like Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett. Yes, I want to use our first round pick on a QB and save the rest for defense. Get a new punter in FA or a undrafted rookie.

I could list an entire page of QBs that were drafted as high as those QBs and even higher that flamed out. Mitch Trubisky was drafted ahead of Mahomes and Watson would you rather have him than Dak? Lol

Mitch and Dak are around the same under pressure. I’d take Dak, but Mitch is cheaper and can do just as much. I’d also like to see Mitch under the best O-line, with good receivers. Also, Mitch looked pretty dang good against us this year. Better than Dak did anyways.

Mitch Trubisky was the second overall pick just a couple of years ago. Our defense was one of the few he’s played well against. Time is already running out on him in Chicago. Our QB is not the problem and you have yet to come up with one QB who will be available that you think is better than him. No one who will be available is better than him or they wouldn’t be available.

No seriously he would make a great backup. He's not starting NFL caliber. He's a great person and he has all the intangibles but he's not good enough to be a starting QB here.

And Dak was setting Quincy Carter levels of futility before Cooper had to bail him out..

He also had a water gun for an arm in his prime. his arm is worse. To be honest, I'm tired of weak arms. Romo was great but had a average arm. Dak has an average arm minus the accuracy. Lets go for it all and stop settling for qbs who can just walk straight or put one sentence together. Pursue greatness.

hell even Dez was saying that they couldn’t put up points against the Eagles despite seeing that look all day.. of course Dez pointed the finger exclusively at the HC..

Agreed on calling Tannehill. We should call up Bridgewater. As for the draft, we have options. Hurts (especially if we get Lincoln Riley), Love, Fromm (if he declares), Tua, Herbert, Burrow (of course), Jordan Love, Jacob Eason. There aren’t that many QB needy teams in the NFL right now to be honest. Dolphins, Bengals, maybe the Titans if they don’t keep Tannehill? Bears. Pats maybe. Panthers maybe. We can easily get Hurts, Fromm, maybe even Herbert. Now, I know your fear of drafting a bust overcomes your optimism of drafting an all-time great, but we have to try.
