Conflating mention of a horrible call and some sort of imagined blame on that call as to why we suck is why this country is in a mess.

Lack of critical thinking. Thanks

Nope...all good. I wondered what you wanted evidence FOR....

and I got yer message loud and clear. You don;t subscribe to the conspiracy theory.

How else do you explain the unreasonable suspension?

Goodell, lifelong Commander season ticket holder and NFL chief counsel during the billion dollar lawsuit Jerry fired at the league in 1995, will never allow the Cowboys a fair shake. Ever. But beyond that I don't even think there needs to be any "conspiracy" per se. I have posted this many times but I have not done it yet this year so here goes.. Every NFL referee got into being a ref because at one point in his life he (or she) was a huge football fan. That means they grew up watching football.. which means they grew up with a favorite team... And most of them who are in our demographic and older spent most of their childhood watching the Cowboys kick the crap out of their favorite team. And as such developed a deep seated hatred for the Cowboys.. That's not to say that there are not refs who grew up Cowboys fans.. but simple logic would indicate that the majority fall on the other end of the spectrum. So as much as these guys train to be impartial and never allow their childhood hate to affect their calls, that 10 year old who watched the Cowboys bury his favorite team is still inside them. That's just reality. So even if they don't hold meetings on how they can screw the Cowboys, they can still end up screwing the Cowboys..

But magically, this doesn't apply to the Steelers or Niners. Lol.

As always, you’re out of your league. Before I get to the Goff face mask non call that led to a penalty lets get back to the Lions game. Please explain your way out of this cry baby.

https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/1...l-playoffs-results-analysis-referees-bad-call

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...owboys-a-gift-with-pass-interference-no-call/

https://www.si.com/nfl/2015/01/05/d...s-lions-botched-pass-interference-explanation

They talk about the facemask and never, ever address this. I wonder why, lol. At worst, it's offsetting and a do-over.

Which one of their owners sued the league over marketing rights? And won..

Asking for a friend..

And? These are all super powerful business people. They know not to make business into a personal thing and wouldn't risk the larger picture cash cow by exacting some silly revenge plot to damage the league overall. Much like when it comes to player contracts, piker fans think everyone operates the way they would and apply thinking as such. When you're shoveling billions around, it's a much, much different mindset. These are all just excuses for losing. Zero comparative analysis but CONSPIRACY! works that way. Never needs to be proved. Just throw out an assertion and say, "Hmmm." Works for the media and politics though, lol.

Can you also explain to me why the Gnats have more fines, suspensions and penalties over the past 5-6 years than the Cowboys if they’re Goodells favorite team?

I don’t know if you’ve engaged with this clown yet but based but you’re wasting your time. I like how he uses stats but they’re very selective and he refuses to acknowledge stats that prove him wrong. Based on his post history and amount of posts I’m assuming he’s a fraud OR just straight up delusional.

Sure I will address it.. as soon as you back it up a couple of frames and show the nice arm extension and push off by Pettigrew that knocked Hitchens off balance and resulted in his reaching for and grabbing the jersey. I had forgotten until I watched it again just now that the facemask was the SECOND penalty committed by Pettigrew on that play. And again, what Hitchens did occurred AFTER he had already been fouled and as such technically never happened.

What part of "lifelong Commanders season ticket holder" did you not understand?

ahhhhhhhhh...never saw that, kinda makes sense. I’m a life long Cowboys fan and always have been but I’m obviously very critical of the team because I care. The fact that you so vehemently defend an over rated RB on this team is suspicious to say the least.

What’s your agenda here?

I hate the blame the ref stuff but last not non review of the return was bad snd this is interesting

great chart. what are the criteria? Does the obvious Goff face mask that resulted in an INT come into consideration?

What about when Donald was bearing down on Dak around the 15 yard line and his jersey was being stretched across the 50 yd line from being held?

What about when Atlanta was called for too many men on the field when there was clear evidence that there were only 11?

So what exactly is considered a favorable or non favorable call? Asking for Ronnie.

No idea on criteria. But very interesting. Agree with one response that I was surprised GB not nearer to the top

@TexasFrog I get you were just posting this and you seem to be objective. I’m not attacking you, just curious if you know the criteria :)

Lol, beat me to it, thanks!

Not a problem! Loads of respect for you Aria. Didn’t take it badly at all. Like I said I saw the chart and this discussion and thought they meshed. I’d like more detail too

------Indeed they are, but this thread originated from crybabies blaming Goodell for Jerry's incompetence.

I would never let Jerry or Stephen off the hook for this 25 year long S storm...I already admitted that nothing will get better until Jerry and maybe Stephen too are both taking dirt naps. I hate to be so blunt, but its fact

------Where were these anti-Cowboys conspiracies in the 90s? They didn't exist because Dallas had championship-caliber teams.

We didn't have a dbag commissioner in the 90's who hated Jerry with a passion.

Sure, pal. The rules at the time were crystal clear but people want things so bad they'll bend reality to ensure they have it. Thus, the big bad Godzilla denied us our moment fantasies get created. 80% of fans didn't even know the rule cited in the Dez no-catch. Pereira even said it would be reversed before they announced it live. Was he in on it too? Lol.

This poster is a MORON ! Of course it was a catch !! That is why the rule has since been REVERSED . Even the league noted they ****ed up . Your not a fan , your an A HOLE !

In the Dez game, there was also a 3rd down catch by Cobb around the Packers 40 which eventually led to a Green Bay TD where the nose of the ball clearly hit the ground before he pulled it upward and gained control of it....not even a replay was shown on TV much less a review.
