Lol!

Dak Prescott in New York sounds a lot more appealing if you're that fan base than Justin Fields.

Big City team that needs to get some hype.

They have had as many top 3 to 5 picks as any team the last decade and the fans have seen nothing out of it.

Jacksonville the same thing.

Jerry talking Dak up like this when they know they are in a negotiation.........

McCarthy had Favre and drafted Rodgers.

We didn't give McCarthy the boot. Not even his buddy Nolan. So McCarthy got clout.

None of these players on this team are his players accept for CD, Diggs the rest of last years draft and I will add Coop because he got paid while McCarthy was here.

Rodgers looks like he can be the MVP this season. McCarthy gets the skins for developing him and Jerry see's it that way.

A team like the Jets would be fools to chase Dak.

Dak needs to go to an established roster like the Dolphins, Colts, Steelers, or some other team like that.

I still don’t think Fields goes #2. I think Wilson does.. It’s only January and I could change my mind but I see the Jets sticking with Darnold.

lol. I've been a Cowboy fan since the late 70's. I support all those who wear the star. Wasn't a big Dalton fan, but supported him, 'cause he wore the star. You and Risen have hated Dak since day 1.

I have not and if you'd like I could pull up threads proving I haven't but i'd prefer not to waste my time.

The same idiots saying we should get rid of Dak must REALLLLLY think the Texans should get rid of Deshaun “4-12” Watson.

Honestly, I wouldn’t take this stuff to heart. Their father isn’t/hasn’t really been in their lives, they lost their mother, and more recently, their brother. They’re going through a lot. With Dak being his younger (only?) brother left, he’s probably trying to do everything and anything he can to protect him and make sure he’s good. It’s understandable for him to take the overbearing older brother role. It kind of sucks for us fans to see him speak on us and Dak like that, but I can see why he’s doing it.

Do you think that example helps your case to pay Dak? lol

Of course they're going to struggle now. Had to trade Hopkins too.

What is Dallas going to have to give up? Nothing? We're just going to build a utopian football team that has great everything while paying the QB?

Yeah, "not a difference maker" lmao. Great point Nav.

The thought process of "we need to trade the guy doing his job, because others aren't doing their job" truly boggles the mind. I'm surprised they were capable of making an account honestly.

I understand that Tak is supporting his brother but if I am Dak I would tell him to stay off twitter. Don't want to piss off the fan base or the Joneses. Where Dak is good at is reading the room.

Many, too many. reduce it all down to the QB position. Dumbest thing is attaching the team's W-L record to the QB.

If that is true as you say, then why are the Dak fans saying that the team needs Dak to win games? Is that not attaching the teams W-L record to the QB? You can't have it both ways.

This goof ball thinks thats the only reason this team went south. I guess the injuries to the entire OL, and key defensive starters did not affect the team at all. What a dunce. A parasite mooching off his brother's money. This team has not even been a Super Bowl contender even with his All-World brother and All-PROS protecting him prior years. Paying a QB $40mil to just flounder at .500 or below ain't exactly the brightest thing to do. Jerry understood this last year, hope he hasn't lost his guts to stick to it. Admitting he is over a barrel on this is the most stupid thing to do. But it is Jerry, so par for the course.

Aikman didn't win anything either after 1995 when his defenses weren't elite. Give Dak the SB defenses Aikman played with. And oh ya, a consistent running game too (which Aikman's SB teams had).

I agree. IMO, football is a team sport and the QB position is overrated. With a very good team around them, a lot of QB's are going to look pretty good and with a bad o line and defense, no QB is going to win.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/af283d/percentage_of_salary_cap_taken_up_by_super_bowl/

Just so we are on the same page, the last time Aikman won he was taking up 6.7% of the cap leaving 93.3% of the cap to build that defense, running game and offensive line. I assume you think that Dak should take a similar deal?

We were once in a lifetime miracle away from being 0-4 with Dak like others have said. For all the issues surrounding us and especially his immediate family you'd think he'd be less of a pos.

He doesn't feel his brother is appreciated enough and he grew up with his Mom being Dak's biggest fan and supporter. From what I know about his Mom, we'd have heard from her instead of Tad.

The most vocal bunch, as always with the Cowboys, are the negative ones and mostly entitled to more than Prescott. So his brother over-reacts emotionally and we have a problem with that?

This game is nothing more than a game. People need to read between the lines of that tweet, that's not about a game and assuming he is financially dependent on Dak and that is his motivation is ridiculous. None of us knows enough about their family to make assumptions like that.

I can tell you first hand, you lose members of your family, you circle the wagons around those left and you get real protective. And I can only assume the pain of having a brother take his own life. I respect the guy for going to battle for his remaining brother when he can't very well defend himself.

Well we haven't won a damn thing with him so....

Daks career is going to be Romo 2.0. Good / Great quarterbacks with wasted careers as the result of horrendous defenses.
