I don’t think we’re trending for a Super Bowl in the near future. I’ve seen all five of the Cowboys Super Bowl wins and this team is not trending in the direction those teams were. In the early 90s the Cowboys were trending upward. In 1989 the Cowboys went 1-15. In 1990 they went 7-9. In 1991 they went 11-5 and made the playoffs, winning a playoff game on the road with a backup QB. The team was getting better every year. Many thought the Cowboys were heading for the Super Bowl in 92 including myself. It was like a tsunami you could see it coming. The current Cowboys teams can’t seem to build on success. Every time they have a playoff season they take a step back the following year. When they made the playoffs in 2018 they proceeded to miss the playoffs the next three seasons. I’m not so sure they’re going to even make the playoffs this season. I think they’re going to struggle to win 10 games.

The Cowboys blew their best opportunity to win the Super Bowl last year when they had a solid roster. I haven’t heard anyone who knows football say they have as good a roster this year. Even the fans can see this roster doesn’t look as talented.

Some fans are hoping that maybe if the team has a chip on their shoulder it will overcome the talent they lost during the offseason. Lol If they didn’t have a chip on their shoulder heading into the playoffs last season against a 49er team that everyone thought was going to out physical them they never will.

Or, smiling mustached man, they could win it all because Dak is better than an Aikman, Zeke is better than Emmitt and Fat Mac is a better coach than Jimmy.
