You know I've always enjoyed your stuff, but not sure how much Dak being back was part of what we saw today. Coming in, Chicago was the worst against the run. Someone said they were ranked high against the pass but only 2 other teams had seen less pass attempts against.

Not saying he played poorly, but attributing Pollard's big day to some kind of, "Dak effect," just seems more like poking his detractors than reflecting what we watched. Good to see you around more though.

With respect, Dak threw for 3 TD’s and ran for a 4th TD. By my count, Rush never accounted for more than 1 TD in any of the games he started. Take the 3 TD difference Dak made in this game, and the game is different. Seriously, I was a guy (and still am) who believed that Romo was still a better QB to lead the team in the 2016 post season. I see Dak’s faults clearly. But he does elevate the overall play of this team.

Dak may not be an historically elite QB. But he’s more than enough to lead this team to a SB win with a great defense, and good offensive weapons around him. If Jeff Hostetler and Eli Manning can be SB winners for really good defensive teams, so can Dak.

Zeke sitting and allowing Pollard to start was the difference today. Dak played good, but TP opened it up for Dak
And Dak and the O-line opened it up for Pollard. It's symbiotic relationship.

Dak had a good game but I'm more proud of Kellyn Moore for finally getting him outside of the pocket.

Their only existence is bashing their favorite teams QB. It’s pure entertainment like Stephen A. Nothing more.

Right.

Because it's the Skip Bayless' of the world who never had any athletic acumen in the first place... So, all they can do is criticize and pretend, like Skip Bayless.

I thought he was sharp out there. The pick before half sucked but that was just being too aggressive by Mike.
If it was Dez or Irvin that would have been a completion every day of the week.

Not really. Haven't been around as much lately.

They're definitely up there. But they're going to have to figure out how to contain Hurts and other running QBs.
Yea that’s a problem and a big part of why Allen and Mahomes are so effective.

Mobile QB’s with arms are a problem . Fields looks like he has the potential .

Good points. He's obviously better than Rush, so don't misunderstand me.

This was a good game to make those adjustments. Today was a great game for the coaches to teach players situational awareness. Lawrence giving up contain was probably the biggest issue, especially because it happened like 4-5 times.

Still, defense played a good game today.

The Bears came to win. Admirable job by them.

Don't let their record fool you. That team will be a contender next year, I suspect.

Skippy wants to act like he’s a Cowboy fan but he still holds a grudge he was ran out of Dallas.

Watching Dak run the ball today was awesome. We need that threat. Dak running threat + Pollard home run threat = completely different offense.

I’ll leave it at that and let your weirdos argue about how good he is.
