It's pronounced E-ver lose. The f is silent, much like this team during the playoffs.
What has eberflus done exactly? He has an all pro LB. And when that All pro LB is out the other LBs suck. So if he can't raise the level of play of guys not named Lee then I don't want him. The significant drop off without Lee is and indictment on Eberflus.

Exactly what are you basing this opinion on? Because there is no evidence to suggest any of that is true.

We are reactionary only.

A bad team stepped out and signed our OL Coach and now we sign their guy.

We lose our WR coach and the front runner is unproven Garrett pal Miles Austin.

Our best Defensive coach was recruited to Indianapolis to work with a HC not yet in place.

We have not been been pre-emptive in the Marinelli situation. Who have we looked into as a replacement?

It's because all things cater to Garrett and protecting his job. These coaches are leaving rather than be scapegoated because he is out of his depth.

The ones we keep are solely because they maintain the crappy status quo. Other teams make moves.

We sit tight and throw money at someone- anyone- that dares to coach under this robotic moron.

It's "Donkey Punch" Featuring Jason Garrett- get your tickets now!

Wasn't ware all pro/pro bowl already? I want to see. I'll give you Spencer but that's it.

I don't understand the question. Of course ware was a pro bowler and all pro before he got there. he continued to be under his new Linebacker coach Matt Eberflus when he was hired in 2011.

Sean lee was here before Eberflus also.

We let Eberflus go while we wait on Marinelli to hem and haw over one more year.

The one coach with real credibility and a future around the league is leaving.

Looks like Garrett has successfully cut down another potential contender. Only dead enders are allowed as OCs in this joint.

This is what has me irritated. We don't even know if Marinelli is staying. This isn't a guy who's fielding amazing defenses in the face of all odds. He's been pretty ok to mediocre. There's no reason to sit around and wait.

well I am not sure how to measure what you are asking. I guess if Ware and spencer fell off the face of the earth the scheme or coach could be held responsible but that didn't happen.

Hitchens has been good. Holloman looked like a player until he was injured. Carter had his moments.

They havent exactly overwhelmed the linebacker room with high round draft picks. its been here is caleb mcsurdy, mark nzochea, cam lawrence, orie lemon etc..

Outside of lee who I think coaches himself up I’ve been super disappointed in that unit...

Someone will chime in with “ but hitchens bro!!!”

Pleaseeeeeeee that has been a C- unit with lee and a B+ wiTh lee which is telling because lee was the main playmaker of the D

Cowboys need to jump on Kris Richard, who's in limbo in Seattle. Will improve secondary and overall defensive play.

38-yeards old, coached CBs, then secondary, then was the DC under Carroll.

Would love to see him work with Awuzie, Lewis, Woods, and Byron Jones.

Would also help land Earl Thomas if Seahawks decide to make him a cap casualty.

Eberflus gained popularity when Hitchens was forced to play as a rookie. Now he has convinced some that Hitch is a must sign. That's testament to his ability as a coach.

The question is if he's successful, will he be from the Garrett tree?

This one stings a bit, but I'm also excited because it means we'll be on the watch for a guy that has a shot at DC in the near future.

Any names out there that will be available?

I have no insight into ME and his impact. That said of all the coaches including the terrible HC he was the guy people seemed to respect most. Now he is gone and Jerry is adding Bengals coaches to the mix. How is it possible after 2 of the last 3 years of failure that they have the same OC, DC, and HC? It is mind boggling. This coming season is the fork in the road. Anything less than a deep trip into the playoffs and Jerry is going to lose a chunk of his fan base. I feel certain of that. People are tired of the NFL and they are tired of the relentless mediocrity in Dallas. I just can’t see it working out well. The coaches here have way too much baggage. They all stink.

So sad.
Its funny how you look around at other teams in the league trying to get better and they hire assistant coaches that are doing well through out the league. When it comes time for Dallas to hire someone you can bet they will be doing poorly. Linehan and Marinelli were on the scrap heap. Those two bums will go down in history as progress stoppers for the Lions and the Cowboys. Even Garrett was let go as a QB coach of the giants and went to miami where he didnt do anything to help them when Jerry rescued him off the scrap pile and went from QB coach to offensive coordinator in a matter of weeks. Its called the Dallas way! Lets not try hiring coaches from teams that win consistently!
