The Line was bad. Dak had no time and Zeke had no holes to run.

They were ALL BAD. I can't think of anything or anyone that had a GOOD day offensively, save for maybe the Dak-Beasley dink and dunks.

But those "veteran rest days" sure looked to have paid off for those guys, huh? Good thing they didn't overplay Prescott either.

I don't think any if it helped. Not the players, certainly not the coaching, not the playcalls, not the execution. None of it. Nobody is blameless.

That egg is on everybody's face.

RG3 is waiting Jerry. I think his time in the league has taught him, and more importantly, tamed him as a QB. Watching him in preseason, he has become a much better decision maker than he was when he first came in the league. Dak needs to be pushed for the job and our current backups aren't gonna do that. With an ailing Oline and a bad habit of holding on to the ball to long, its a recipe for injury. And if that happens, the price for RG3 will rise. Pull the trigger, JJ, before its too late.

Yup, was pretty obvious last year, but the Homer's couldn't take their rose colored glasses off long enough to realize it... Sad.

Year 3 and nothing has changed. You can blame this on the coaches too but when the player also lacks talent the coaching can only do so much.

This front office just has no idea what they are doing. They sold the fan base the notion that Dak is a franchise QB after his rookie year.

Snake oil salesmenship.

name one QB besides Romo that garret has been able to develop or get good results out of .
Rome was developed under parcells, so was witten, garret has never done anything with TE's either.
Dak was good right out of college, under JG he has gone downhill.
but Dak doesnt draw up the plays , or game plan, or call the plays, those all make a difference. If they are crap the qb will look like crap.

They tried to make offense dak friendly, but it isnt , it is a joke.

Exactly!! Dak is just flat out terrible and people still dont believe! The same problems we saw Dak have his first season against the Giants and Vikings are what exposed him. He hasnt and never will be able to exploit the 8-9 men in the box because he has no accuracy past 10 -15 yards. His accuracy even goes down when he tries to throw it with some zip. Dak is good at floating balls when he has time. As we saw when he cant set his feet he doesnt have the arm strength to throw down the field. And people scoffed when I thought Dallas should of been searching for a QB in the draft and traded up for Josh Rosen.
That being said Garrett needs to be fired asap! I always said Romo was self taught and has created the misconception that Garrett can coach.

Romo and his progression as a QB exposed Garrett as a deficient HC when Romo retired. Romo didn't follow Linehan that much either as he read the defense and called his own audibles. Jerry is really invested in Dak at this point but, it's just another pile of fool's gold and Jerry will have lots of faux to deal with if he doesn't clean the offensive coaching debacle.

15 carries. Many carries coming out of shotgun or 11 personnel against a base front 7. The box may not be stacked, but that's the gameplan defenses are using now because they don't fear Dak. That was DEN's gameplan last year. Don't go into nickel against 11 personnel and it's a lot tougher to run.

I just don’t buy the teams don’t respect the QB so we can’t run. I’ve seen it too many times. AP produced a 2000 yard season with Christian Ponder. Jamal Lewis has a 2000 yard season with Kyle Booker starting 9 games(rookie no one respected). Thomas Jones had a very good rushing season with Rex Grossman (last Bears SB).

If Zeke is as special as fans say he should do more. No more excuses for him. I agree he needs more carries (25-30) but he has to be better too!

Nah just Dak. I know you want to defend him, but dude is a duck. Plain and simple
No, I don't want to defend him. I want to also hold other players who aren't producing to the level they should to the same standard. I get the outrage for Dak. I'm wondering where that same outrage is for all the other players. Where is our superstar RB and his play making abilities been?

Some have been on Dak's case since he replaced Romo. The fact was Dak was garbage. The OL was Garbage. The WR's were garbage and most important the coaching was garbage.

It’s the coaches man. Our coaches are not any good.

Yes Dak and Zeke and everybody else have some blame too. But the truth is, our coaches DO NOTHING to provide our players an advantage. The players are not getting any type of leg up from the coaching staff. They are being dragged down by the coaches mediocrity.

That’s why players who are good come here and then get dragged down into mediocre. And that’s why when those same good players leave, they play well for other teams.

The offense from top to bottom needs thrashing, up to and including, Will McClay who is everyone's darling.

That's the problem, it's not just the coaches. It's the front office, the coaches, and the players. It's all of them, but we want to finger point to a scapegoat when there is clearly failure across the board. Our line looks like crap and that is the foundation of the team.

Never understood why people love him so much. This team has no depth and the good players we have are starting to break down and will probably need replacing soon.

The FO and the coaches are the main problem with this team.
