Thats with Stafford. Today we played against a QB that was almost turned WR for the Bengals... The same Bengals that are 0-9.
True, but I honestly think the plays he was making with his legs made it harder on our D than Stafford's arm would. Honestly, I was pretty surprised at the throws Driskel was making too. I'd take him as a backup, no doubt.

I keep hoping this team turns it around and wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if we beat the Patriots, in matter of fact I think we will but that has more to do with what I think of the Patriots.....over rated.

But I agree with the rest, I never expected this game to be this close. As dominating as our offense looked, there were several plays that could have gone either way. Some call it skill, some luck, I think we had a lot of both in this game. I expected much more. A win is a win but if anything this gave me a little loss of confidence going forward.

Hell, I’m happy about the win but I was more impressed with our Vikings and New Orleans losses. Those games gave me hope due to the quality of the teams whereas this gives me less optimism due to the LACK of quality team.

Dude, we covered the spread in a road NFL game. Road favorites both win and cover the spread less than 30% of the time in this league.

Smile

I don't start threads very much. But this has to be said.

We just won a close game on the road in the conference to go 6-4 and stay in control of our division. And many people already want to look ahead to New England and say how we will lose. Like they just can't wait to trash our team.

I don't like it. It's not right.

Shame.
willia--- i can see your point...but maybe...it is the anxiety of hard core fans who see our O line not run blocking well and our defense that has take steps backward this year....dont think either is an easy fix...but i totally understand where you are coming from...fans are suppose to support their team

aria---totally see your point....but i did hear commentators during the week speculate that Lions have been playing us tough the last few years and they expected a tough match?...i cam concerned about our O line and d-line and linebackers too....hope it can be turned around

F the Pat's. Dak has this!

If we go into a shell and play old school red headed football, we will lose. New looks and new formations we haven't shown or have shown sporadically will help.
I have a man crush on Brady. The guy is the epitome of success. Hope we make him want to retire. Off with his head.

Dallas is a bad football team, Detroit is just a little worse is all.. The Patriots will have no issues at home with the Cowboys. Its nothing personal or spite, it's just reality.

I can't wait to hear your excuse when we win. Gonna be cute.

Do you want to be Alabama or Texas Tech?

The Cowboys have been Texas Tech for 25 years.

It's all about standards.

Well, I will own it and actually it wouldn't surprise me. This team makes no sense this season so I admit, it could happen but it really shouldn't the way the Defense plays and given the fact that New England is pretty much unbeatable at home since Brady has been there. That's a non-disputable fact....

This was a tough win, but not a pathetic win. It's the NFL. The teams are all more evenly matched than their records may suggest.

Just remember, this Lions team was a bogus call on Trey Flowers shy of beating the mighty Packers.

Let's just be happy the Cowboys are guaranteed another two weeks atop the NFC East.

If you are so confident the Cowboys won't lose to the Pats then maybe you want to make a wager? You just expressed your displeasure with the fans so you obviously want to back up those words. If not... I don't like it. it's not right.

You're twisting not only his words, but his sentiment. He's not say we'll beat the Pats. He's saying some people just won't allow others to enjoy a win.

I never understand if some of you even watch the game. This D was just awful. They cant run the ball. Our secondary is garbage, our safeties are worse and dont get started on the LB. Right now this team has very few play-makers, and most of offense, Quinn maybe on D thats about it. Then this team goes up against a good O they will be crushed, hell they almost were today. Stop being blind homers and admit what is really going on. Good QB and WR, ok Oline. Average RB and one horrific Defense

I have Dak on my fantasy team. And he is the big reason I am in first place and will remain there.

But this team will get beat in the playoffs when the time comes, if it comes. Dak has to throw for 400 yards and 3 TD's every week or we lose even against bad teams. And sometimes we lose anyway.

I am happy we won, but this was more evidence that shows that this team isn't close to prime time.

You are probably right BUT nothing is predetermined. If it was wed have never been to the playoffs last year and Dak would've fizzled out in 2017.

The defense is a problem but our PASSING offense is better than Ive seen in years.

One thing this team has shown us over the years is that they are nearly impossible to predict.

Which is why I will celebrate this victory and look forward to next week.

How is forecasting the game next week affecting enjoying the win this week? I'm having a blast with this victory. I just see an opportunity to enjoy next week's loss as well. lol

I think Detroit is much better than their record. They've been in every game this season, I believe. Just couldn't pull it out. We all should remember that feeling.
Yeah but I don’t think they had the injuries they have now and having Stafford would have certainly made a difference but perhaps you’re right.
