2 More Sacks For Merriman

sad the guy can get busted for roids 3 times and is still playing...

This topic should be in the GENERAL SECTION, not Cowboys news!

I'm tired of hearing about how the Cowboys should have drafted the guy instead of Ware, let the seaosn play out first....

Far be it from me to fight the whining. Here you go, talk all about it, but keep it clean.

Apparently this topic is now off limits and will be deleted shortly. Either that, or someone will post that the 3 sacks actually means that Ware is a better pass rusher and Merriman's sacks can be attributed to lucky charms and 4 leaf clovers (or roids).

no, they can be attributed to NOT playing for Mike Zimmer & Bill Parcells

if Merriman were here he wouldnt be doing jack...I dont know why this is such a tough concept for some to get

I have no doubt that you are right about that.

He has two games in which he has made 3 sacks in the game. Oakland and AZ - two lines worse than ours.

So... in a couple of hours we have a game that determines the direction of our team in regards to personnel for our immediate future and years to come, and we are having another Merriman/Ware debate?

Face it guys. We didn't draft Merriman. He will never play for this team. We have a quality player in his stead and there are more important things to discuss...

He's appealing the ruling.
Is that the loophole, as he appeals the ruling he still plays even if guilty? Why doesn't every player do this?

ALmost all of them do, in every sport. Pitchers in baseball will often appeal for a few days to set the rotation up right, then drop the appeal.

Same stupidity as the Ekuban/Moss debates. Same principle.

come on Trick, if Ware doesnt get 5 sacks and a pick tonight, he was a wasted draft pick

it doesnt matter that Ware and Merriman play in totally different schemes and with different coaches, all that matters is we didnt take him

We need to call Wares girlfriend and have her shoot him up while he's asleep. ;)
