I was listening to a discussion about that...

It was commented that that was the single most perfect Olympic vault of all time. They said that after Nadia Comenici got the 10, it became too commonplace... Mary Lou Retton got 2 10's in the Olympics. Now it's the unspoken rule that no one gets a 10 anymore...

It was funny to see that judge's mouth drop open in disbelief when she saw the vault...

it really was a perfect vault and she is getting more air than the men it is insane. The sport is broken if you do something perfect and they don't reward you for it

Lots of people in Europe barely missed out on qualifying


If he had to qualify like everyone else he never would have qualified and someone else, someone a lot more deserving would have gone

they have additional spots for guys like him, whether he was in or not, those Europeans would not have been in.

I saw that race. I just knew somebody would make a move to at least make the race interesting, but it's like she turned on the jets. So any move they was definitely only for 2nd place. lol

Same, I kept holding my breath thinking she was going to burn out, but she actually increased the lead instead lol

Did anyone see the medal ceremony for tennis? While the Star Spangled Banner was playing the wind got real bad and the American flag blew away! Sharapova and the girl who won the bronze thought it was pretty funny. Serena smiled and kinda shrugged her shoulders :laugh1:

She did not beat the time of the best male swimmer in the world unlike that chinese swimmer.
