2012 London Olympics thread *Spoilers*

That was very courageous of US men's tennis player Ryan Harrison to come on just now and do an interview, and apologize for his meltdown on court yesterday.

Me too. I set an alarm, but it didn't go off. Anyways good job by Team USA crushing France.

I dont know, i've just never gotten into the whole Team USA stuff. I just dont need to see Kobe and Lebron dunk on a bunch of French guys.

Even the Dream Team did nothing for me, watching Jordan and every other future NBA hall of famer beat Germany or whoever by 40 doesnt really get the patriotic juices flowing.

Yeah - I JUST missed the entire game :(

I missed it as well. The scheduling of the TV coverage is caught in the 90s.

I slept through the Team USA Men's basketball team playing this morning. Hopefully I'll catch their next game.

I saw one fight last night he was losing all the way and KO'd the guy in the last possible second (3:00 round 3). Would have lost if not for that

George Foreman sees nothing wrong with that lol

Obviously there's no Americans boxing.

Man....I remember back in the day Boxing was something to look forward to.

I go back to when Teo Stevenson of Cuba would dominate the heavy weights. lol

Yeah, and Stevenson probably could have been world champ if he had wanted to. I don't think anyone was really close to him in his prime.

Who brings a little crying baby to a tennis match!? Wow, just wow. Ridiculous!!

Yeah they aways wanted to get Ali and Theo to fight - that would have been interesting.

That would be pretty amazing

On a lesser note, the USA tandem just advanced in Men's Beach Volleyball.

I think I heard that Theo loved Cuba SO much that he refused to turn pro, just so he could continue to win Olympic gold for Cuba.

So, 100,000 condoms for the 10,000 athletes. Word is that 80% of those are JUST for the US men's basketball team :)

(Oh, hey, maybe a lot of them were just for Michael Phelps bwaaa ha ha ha)
