they will be improved after that trade, but how much so will depend a lot on the health of wall and okafor.

And the draft. Looks like they're pretty much not drafting Thomas Robinson now.

well, i hear the bobcats want robinson, or they are looking to trade that pick to a team that does. i think MKG is a better fit for them anyway, he is going to be a stud IMO

Chicago and Dallas are way too high. Both teams should be at the bottom of that list. Dallas got swept out of the 1st round and Chicago lost to a mediocre Philly team. I know Rose is out, but he's probably gonna be out all of next season.

Those will change, FA hasn't even started yet. I'll save my who should get what odds speech for when we know who's playing where.

Things may change or they could stay the same.

this is a good time to take a bet on a team thats not the heat or thunder, if you feel like they would win. kind of wish the spurs odds were a little lower, id say they have a much better chance at it than the bulls

15 Of The Worst Flops In NBA History [GIFs]

James.gif
250-pound LeBron James tries to dribble past Suns forward Earl Barron and puts his right shoulder into the chest of Barron, who attempts to shadow King James near the perimeter. Upon making contact, LeBron lets the ball go and throws himself wildly to the floor with his arms raised, landing on his back. What a glorious flop and more importantly, a foul.
LeBron is just one of the NBA's flop artists, many of them stars who are more likely to draw a foul for acting performances. The unethical dark art will continue until the league penalizes players for flopping, but it now appears that the NBA is finally taking the issue seriously.
David Stern met with the league's competition committee on Monday to discuss how to end flopping. "If you continue to do this, you may you have to suffer some consequences," Stern said. "What those exactly should be and what the progression is is to be decided, because ... we just want to put a stake in the ground that says this is not something that we want to be part of our game, without coming down with a sledgehammer but just doing it in a minimalist way to begin stamping it out."
We'll see if and when the league changes the rules. In the mean time, let's review some of the most shameful, egregious flops in the greatest visual form known to man: GIFS!

so why did C&LF get banned this time?

There was a post about stopping insults in the last thread, I didn't really read much from last night though. My guess would be it has to do with that.

that will be the number 1 story, then seeing whether Timmy and KG decide to retire or play is another, WHERE KG plays if he decides to keep going is also in question. then there are the potential trades, most specifically something involving Howard. i cant wait!

also, one thing i love to do is predict who gets the worst contract and who gives it! my early candidates are JJ Hickson, Spencer Hawes, and Jeremy Lin

the team candidates to give out the worst deal are perennial contenders, knicks, pistons and bobcats, followed by some wild cards in the nets and mavs, whomever loses out on DWill

thats a weird trade, i havent looked at the contract lengths, but that seems like a really good trade for the wizards!

As a Wiz fan, I hope so... now they can go get a good shooting guard with the 3rd pick in the draft to pair with John Wall (Bradley Beal is the hot name du jour)...

Nene and Okafor make me feel a lot better about the inside game, especially with 275 pound Kevin Seraphin coming into his own at the end of the season... Trevor Ariza is a tough defender, but his shot selection leaves a lot to be desired...

All that remains for the Wiz this offseason is shipping out Andray Blatche, and the draft...

Since I missed the chance to say it in the other thread ( I was too busy logging hours and hours of Battlefield 3 playing time to bother with being on the site :) ), congrats to the Miami Heat and their fans on their championship.

I'm disappointed that my Thunder got beaten but I'm quite sure they'll be more chances for them to win it all.
