Looking forward to TCU vs Oregon

after looking @ the match-ups.

LSU v Texas Tech
UNC v Baylor
Oregon v TCU
Okie St v Ole Miss
Iowa v Stanford
ND v OSU
FSU v Hou
Pitt v Navy

These seems to be the most attractive games, outside of the playoff match-ups. imo.....
Should be a solid bowl season.

Gawd, my red raiders are going to get crushed. Decent RBs run all over Tech. Fournette may run for 500 yards

The TT D looked great against TCU. I was frankly surprised that they defended both run and pass so well.

And I think TCU would beat LSU, even having a banged up D (that's another game I'd like to see).

So, I wouldn't be shocked to see Tech win that one.

Hope you're right, beating LSU would be a huge feather in their cap

gotta chuckle at you saying TT D looked good against TCU after scoring 52 BUT giving up 55

defense ain't what it used to be

Yeah, and Tech has played a big role in changing the face of CFB, starting with Leach, who I still follow at WSU.

Briles has followed suit, bringing a Texas high school spread-type look to his offense.

Now UT is pursuing Cumbie, as is LSU. Leach's fingerprints are going to be widespread. (no pun intended)

The defensive strategy that Patterson employs in based on speed, and of course that fits the recruiting mold for these up-tempo offenses as well.
TCU has made that work well, and Tech looks to be following suit.

Glad to see the Raiders kept the Frogs under 60.

I was so pissed when the powers that be ran off Lynch, he's the best thing that's ever happened to that school and he appeared content with staying there but they got their panties in a bunch because he didn't smooze the boosters

So stupid, it's Texas Tech not some powerhouse school with lots of choices

Briles of course was on Leach's staff.
So was Holgerson and most of the guys running this fast-break spread.

It's been tweaked to add tempo(KK/Sumlin) and the power run game(Briles).

These offenses definitely bring some excitement to the game, and they can also hide a sub-par OL.

I like TCU's combination of O and D, but injuries killed the D this year.
We'll see what they look like next year without Boykin.

Alamo Bowl should be a good one.
