I didn't really pay much attn. to Aggie football. Were these guys really that good or is it that they were starters?
Briles of course was on Leach's staff.
So was Holgerson and most of the guys running this fast-break spread.
It's been tweaked to add tempo(KK/Sumlin) and the power run game(Briles).
Sumlin is done

There's obviously a big story over the A & M stuff but I've always thought Sumlin was a good coach. Maybe it's not something he had any control over?
They are kids after all.
And is it just me but does Sumlin look like the Steelers HC?
Well, BFF........3 years in row A&M landed top QB recruits. Imagine how giddy the fan base was. Now, they've all voluntarily transferred after the offense imploded.
That fan base has been historically loyal and hesitant to utter a discouraging word, but they now want answers and changes.
WR and OL talent has not been lacking, so it must be a problem with the scheme and coaches.
The real story behind these transfers will come out soon.
In the meantime my Tide will continue to roll with our great coach!
Yeah, and I don't think he's going anywhere.
For the Alamo Bowl -- Roll Toad!!
Quit stealing our catchphrase. Thief.
Methinks the QB coach is on thin ice, if not the OC and HC.
How about.......War Toad!!
Of course...Two sources close to the situation said Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp is very concerned about the internal direction of the Aggie football program under Kevin Sumlin, 51, and is looking into the possibility of terminating Sumlin’s contract, which has a $20 million buyout.
One source said Sharp would then seek to hire Houston’s Tom Herman, 40, who went 12-1 in his first season coaching the Cougars and won the American Athletic Conference. Another source said North Carolina’s Larry Fedora, 53, who is from College Station, would also get strong consideration.

The Cougars coach just signed a new contract right? Surely he would not stab them in the back like that.
That's just cruel.
I bet Coach Sumlin keeps his job.
I sure hope so, I'd hate for the aggies to get a good coach.
Ha. I think he's a good coach.
IF they do fire him he'll get another job quickly.
biggest fraud in college football, looked good with Manziel pulling plays out of his *** and Sherman's oline full of 1st round draft picks.
I don't agree!
