2016 NBA Playoffs Thread

All props and I mean ALL PROPS to LeBron.

I was getting tired if him the last few finals runs.

The guy came back to get Cleveland to get them a title... And he did.
That is amazing.

He is the greatest in the game today.
Not in same conversation as Jordan though. Kobe and Jordan were killers. LeBron is not.

Dubs fan here. Lebron and Kyrie were absolutely clutch (not to mention Tristan Thompson) and took it to the Warriors with almost impossible odds against them.

Major props to them and congrats to Cleveland.

That said, that was without a doubt the single worst officiated Finals series I've ever watched. The inconsistency, pettiness of some calls, blatant allowance of some obvious calls...the only saving grace is that both sides suffered and benefited. The league has to demand better.

Cleveland is celebrating so hard right now and it's amazing. Basketball is not my sport but I did follow the cavs somewhat in the playoffs. Anyways, these fans have waited 52yrs to celebrate a championship and this is the first nba championship. I honestly am really happy for my friends and family that are getting to enjoy this because they deserve it.

Lebron is right there with Jordan, Kobe, etc. You can't doubt the killer instinct Lebron showed these last 3 games. More than ANYTHING, I am so happy the talk of Curry being the best player in the game will finally stop.

Being a killer isn't everything. Reggie Miller was a killer, more clutch than Kobe imo, just not as good. And while I would say Lebron is not Jordan, and likely never will be, he's better than Kobe.

He's obviously closer than he was yesterday, but I still don't think he is in the conversation for THE greatest of all time.

It's hard to compare positions. Lebron's height, strength, and power is better than Kobe's. So obviously is better down low scoring, getting rebounds, and of course is a better passer than Kobe.

I've been watching BBall since the 70's. In my opinion, the greatest guard is Jordan. Greatest center either Kareem or Wilt. Small forward, I have no problem saying Lebron. Greatest of all time, some say Wilt, some say Jordan, etc. Just what you prefer in what exactly is the greatest.

Hakeem was the best center, IMO of course. I never really got to see the stilt play but the Dream was better than Kareem.

Way to go Lebron.

Relish the moment cavs fans. That was a hell of an end to the championship drought.

I hope more then anything next year is our turn to relish in the moment. I can barely remember our last championship but probably mostly because I was kind of young.

Moving on... my prediction for the OLY games team... considering those who have turned it down already, those who have said they are playing... and those on the fence...

DCus, Melo, Durant, Klay Thompson, Lebron, Kyrie, Draymond Green, Paul George, Drummond, Lillard, Bradley Beal.... my guess....

Melo, LBJ, Lillard are still on the fence.... Westbrook, Steph, Harden... and several others have already pulled out... Paul, Griffin, & others are injured.

It was only 4 years ago when they were celebrating the anniversary of the 1992 Dream Team that some people were saying LeBron wasn't good enough to be a member of that team. Some said he wasn't better than Larry Bird, Scottie Pippen or Chris Mullen. I thought he was good enough 4 years ago and has only gotten better. One of the top ten players of all time.
