Ewers choked big time when it mattered the most. His sidearm throwing motion caused several too highly thrown balls to open receivers which would have kept drives alive. He also had several passes batted down at the line of scrimmage for that very same reason: his stubbornly dumb sidearm throwing motion where the ball comes out so low. Various times in the 1st half, Ewers simply wilt and gave up for easy sacks when he had good protection but refused to run with the ball when his receivers were covered. Then the 2 game costing turnovers by him to end the game after they were within a yard of scoring their 3rd TD, tying the game and sending it into overtime. All signs of choking under pressure.
