Anyone needing a RT can swoop in with a 2nd round pick and money whip him. Dumb move as usual.
I mean a RFA is an RFA, unless you think he would've signed a low offer before hearing others what could they do diferent? They could extend him during his injury but with Baby Smith playing so well and Tyrone in play im not sure over paying him during the injury is a great idea. We could lose him but I'm not sure thats worse than over paying him during an injury.

We can match the other teams offer. No need to pay him a 1st round tender.

I'm good with trading him for Deandre Hopkins straight up.

Draft o-line with our 1st again and maybe get Jalen Carter with our 2nd moving up if need be.

RB in the 3rd to team with Pollard. Especially if Zeke doesn't take a pay cut down to $7 million under.

Pick up a difference maker or 2 in FA at LB and CB. LB if we don't sign LVE. Draft 1 in the 4th down for depth.

Sign Donovan Wilson.
Wilson is gone. Next guy up is Markquese Bell, and there's alot to like about that kid

Imo they should have put the 1st round tender on him. Somebody picking at 62 could easily give that up.

Hes worth more than that to us imho
IF we choose not to match the contract
Coming off an injury I doubt it. I’ll never be against taking care of a player but no one is signing him

Crazy people call a future HOF a weakness. Now if they want to to point to injury history ok we can talk about it. But people saying Steele is better is sooooo disrespectful lol. It was a miracle that tyron even played last yr. His muscle was ripped off the bone.

He could've came back and forced his way back to LT. Hell hes basically one of jerrys sons he would've had his job back with one talk with Jerry. He said I'll do what you need me to do coach. Rt like nothing. Idk bout any of you but I'm 100% good if Steele signs elsewhere. To see Martin and a healthy Tyron side by side, I've wanted to see this since Martin was drafted.

We'll see. Wilson, I believe is our best safety. Hear a lot of good things about Bell since last training camp.

I like Wilson, but the best S is Kearse. Not by much but he gives you everything Wilson does but just a little bit better.

Not to derail the thread, but how does this kid not get drafted?
He was bad his rookie yr. The team developed him and him putting in the work.

His rookie yr everybody thought it was knight that would've been the keeper between the 2.

Lol whoa, looks like they might be getting a 2nd round pick this yr. Think this might be more with Tryon than Steele. Could easily see tyron play 3 more yrs he's only 32.
Lol. His drivers license might say 32, his body says 52.

Go watch some film. After Steele went out the running game went completely downhill. It’s not even close.
Steele is an outstanding run blocking OL and not as good for passing blocking but want kill you there

Did it?

Vs jax 154 yards td
Vs phi 115 yards td, wasn't this the first game allowing 100yrds?
Vs tenn 87 yards td
Vs wash 64 yards
Vs tb 128 yards
Vs sf 76 yards

Moore ran the ball 30 times 3 times in these 6 games and we're 3 wins, guess which ones they were? You have to run the ball to get results

Dallas is still undefeated under Dak when running the ball 30 or more times.
Or could we run the ball because we were winning / passing game was working. It’s not so simple to look at carries and wins.

Does it? At 32 could you make it back to play in a season your bone was off the bone? Let's go back to why Tyron has had a tough time with injuries. It's kinda by his own doing, but didn't he wait a couple yrs to have the surgery on his neck? That start to trigger other things. He's actually had a few surgery to correct these issues over the past few yrs. He was said to be completely healthy this yr until that muscle off the bone.

But for me I'll take a healthy 32 yr old future hofer, over a udfa that's developed into a good rt but is coming off a torn acl AND mcl.

When it comes to drafting in the 2nd round, he Cowboys history is not exactly stellar.

What do they hope to get with a 2nd round pick, an offensive linemen that just might work himself up to the level of Steele?

Ironically, the Cowboys may inadvertently benefit from Steele's injury if it should make teams a little more hesitant in pursuing him
