No, you likely can't get a #1 pick for a 37 year old QB who hasn't played essentially in two years. You can try to throw out the injury stuff all you want but it's a key factor here.

Bradford net a first rounder. Romo can fetch at least a second. However wed have to wait and pray as bad as this sounds for an injury to another starter

Would love to. But we are already nearly 9 mill over the cap. Cutting Romo will cut that in half, however I see us doing a whole lot of nothing (like last year) in free agency. We simply cant afford it under the rules.

Not true. We will have at least 30 Million of cap space, even before moving Romo and Free.
