40 "missed calls" against the Eagles when they "beat" the Cowboys

Some of us have pointed out to AC that these same refs who AC is complaining about are the same ones who put Dak and the team in position to win the game at the end and Dak (the team included) blew it.

The refs just suck, always have and always will
How did the refs "put us in position"? Are you saying the calls on the last Dallas possession against Philly were bad calls?

Did Philly have points taken away on an incorrect interpretation of the rules (they treated Schoon as a runner instead of a receiver)?

No bias? No favoritism? No double standard? No help by the officials?

Explain these 40 "missed calls" for the Eagles...

The Cowboys went about 65 yards with no timeouts in about 15 seconds because of 3 defensive penalties against the Eagles. They were set up with enough time to run 3 plays to try and win the game. Anybody complaining that the refs cost us the game should grow a pair and go pound sand.

Complain about the refs, if a bad call is the sole reason we loss a game. To do it when we could've won a game despite the refs but came up short is just whining.
You are creating a straw man argument. Nobody is saying that is the only reason we lost. It can be true at the same time that Dallas got hosed by the refs and blew it on their own. Try some nuanced, non-binary thinking on this.

To have concern about continued bad officiating is not "whining", and you know that, because if it were you and the fake tough guys would just ignore it and this topic rather than waste your time trying to convince us that it is.

Came to say this

You cannot compare blatant PI, roughing the passer etc. to missing holdings, false starts etc.

Again, what calls against Philly on that last drive were bad calls?

It's about 'bias'. If the refs are so biased against Dallas they don't make those calls on the last drive and Dallas isn't in position to pull the game out. Or to fail, which ended uo being the case.

The OP made a thread about referee bias, and now this one pops up. The refs aren't biased against Dallas or any other team, they just suck.

I think the complaint is if you watch the video, they call clear holding on Dallas. But when Philly does the exact same thing it’s not called. The multiple false starts on both of their tackles not called was insane.

Did the refs put Dallas in position to win? Sure. But you can’t argue that any of those calls weren’t legit calls. They even missed one on Jalen Carter who hit Dak directly in the head when he was on the ground.

It’s the same mantra as always. Call the game fair.

You can’t call these penalties on Dallas but not call them on Philly. Thats the gripe.

Have a feeling if you sat there analyzing any game you’d find the same. You can call holding on any team, on any play. This stuffs pathetic and weak sauce. Move along. We have a very weak minded fan base

I have rarely seen a game as one sided as what was happening in that one and then magically with the Cowboys down 11, Dallas starts getting every call. That doesn't look like random variation. That looks like rigging. I'm not sure what the motivation would be. The betting line? They like Philadelphia? Just keep it close for fans' sake?
Maybe the refs just suck and should be doing something else for a hobby or to earn a living, whatever the case may be.

They did that for Philly against Miami, and there was a lot of scrutiny in the media over that. They had to dial it back to more subtle favoritism.

You can feel free to "move along". Why waste your time trying to convince us this is "weak sauce" Seems like the appropriate thing to do is to ignore threads full of "weak sauce".

Why is it so important for you guys to sling the insults in this topic?

Can you imagine how bad the games would be if the ref's called a penalty on each play? 0-0 ties across the board because a flag is tossed on each and every play? No one wants that.

I do agree with the sentiment that the calls should be fair - don't call holding on one team but not the other when the plays were exactly the same. I'm of the opinion, though, that it's impossible for the ref's to see every possible angle. They blow it many times, sometimes they don't.

Fake tough guys? XD Yes, both can be true, but what use is it to whine about the Refs in a game the cowboys were ultimately the masters of their own destiny in? Like some pointed out you can search youtube for bad calls on other teams as well. In a game, where the better team was trying to give us the game, and we still come up short, I can't complain too much about the officiating. The problem with a lot of our fans is they play the blame shifting game, and some of us get tired of it.

So Micah, D-Law and several other starting star Cowboys players are fake tough guys who love playing the blame shifting game? Are you tired of them? If so, why watch?

Well you certainly don't want to hear your players whine about the officiating, when they could've clearly won the game despite of that if they would've got their mental mistakes in order. Do you think that whining makes players look tough? It is better to get angry and destroy the Iggles the next time we play them. Actions speak louder than whining.

Agree 100%, but I can't blame the players for speaking out against the refs when everyone could clearly see how 1-sided and biased the referees were in that game. They clearly helped out the Eagles. It's on tape. I'm glad the players said something. The officiating has gotten way out of hand.
