That will never happenPlus, as he was a first round draft pick, I think we can exercise the 5th year option

I doubt if they are laughing.Oh, well. Take a chance on a better QB in next year's draft. Trey Lance sucks. 49ers are laughing right now.
Exactly....like Dak gets injured and Rush stinks it up.Yep ..Very cheap price for a guy who could develop over time...anyone that expects him to replace Dak anytime soon is an idiot.
Unless there are serious injury issues we won't see him until next preseason. He will get tons of reps then, which he desperately needs.
Risen just trolling IMO. He isn't that dumb to believe what he's typing. Just looking for a reaction a la someone who's about 12 years oldTrey Lance is not garbage. He didn't get much of an opportunity in SFO, but, when he was healthy, he looked good imo.
Some of y’all are just absolute clowns.
The dude is 23 years old. He still has plenty of time to develop and he’s actually a legit talent.
He missed football because of the viruz and a injury.
The risk reward is great.
For a 4th rounder I like the move. Give the kid time to develop.you are still crying about the team trying to make a move to make the team better. very strange, it's like you can't be happy unless it's the dallas prescotts. strange..
Considering what they gave up to get Lance, that is the dumbest post of the dayOh, well. Take a chance on a better QB in next year's draft. Trey Lance sucks. 49ers are laughing right now.
100% my line of thought alsoHere is what I like…Dak is a completely different player than Rush. Dak is mobile and probably a better thrower on the move. He is big and physical. Rush is a statue. At best an intermediate thrower from the pocket. He is soft. They are complete opposites.
It would stand to reason that you’d want a back up that has a similar skill set to the starter. Lance is that.
I don’t know if McCarthy can fix him and turn him into a starter. I do know Lance is way better than Rush or Grier.
A low risk high reward scenario.
But this trade makes zero sense. Cooper Rush is a proven backup. He might be marginally better than Grier but who cares. Not worth a mid round pick. Dallas has much bigger issues than who will be their 3rd qB.
I agree, he was cheap and available. I can't figure out why all the complaining about the team trying to get better. He might not be the move but the team is trying and are not satisfied with the same ole same ole.For a 4th rounder I like the move. Give the kid time to develop.
Your butt hurt and petty clownishness over Dak is amusing....keep it up. Makes me laugh.I hope Trey is the QB THIS year.
Forget another wasted year with Dak.
We know Dak is a loser. It's still yet to be determined if Lance is or not.
How do you “know” that? Here is what I like…Dak is a completely different player than Rush. Dak is mobile and probably a better thrower on the move. He is big and physical. Rush is a statue. At best an intermediate thrower from the pocket. He is soft. They are complete opposites.

You hope sooooooooo hard that the Cowboys lose this trade, Dak fan.Your butt hurt and petty clownishness over Dak is amusing....keep it up. Makes me laugh.
Yes they can, but I wouldn't put it past them to have an understanding to re-do his current deal if needed. They did that with Cooks.Plus, as he was a first round draft pick, I think we can exercise the 5th year option
You never know. If it turns out he's a viable replacement for Dak, then they might use it.That will never happen
