49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk requests trade

Your scenario would only happen if Aiyuk's agent makes the phone call as we know our FO has that strange requirement.
That scenario is possible depending on the market for him. If there are few trade offers I could see a deal like that and he gets to hit market next year. I think players hurt their value asking for a trade though I don’t blame them for wanting to get paid. I think sitting out to get paid doesn’t hurt you as much as asking for a trade does

Absolutely. They also ignore how much the owners bring in every year. Why can't the players also get paid? I hope the players get as much as they can playing this dangerous, violent game.
I’ve asked that in the past. The more money comes in the more money the owners make….where should that money go? The most violent sport probably in the world and people complain about the money.

Steelers have been mentioned. I can see that as a destination.

The Chargers just dumped a big WR salary, not sure if they would pull the trigger or just draft young guys for Herbert.

The Dolphins just signed Jaylen Waddle to a big extension that goes through 2028. Couple that with Tyreek's deal, I think they are done for now with big dollar wideout deals.

Good point about the Chargers. I would think, for the Dolphins, it depends on if they want to go all in. I'm not saying it's likely, but they might go for it. I'd also watch for a team, and I hate that I'm about to say this, like Houston.

Niners should find a way to sign him and dump often injured Deebo instead. Brock getting paid next year, so I get that it would be difficult. If they do trade him, I see a tough road ahead for them to return to the Super bowl. The Lions are the fave IMO. With the Pack right there with SF. There is also the reality that they couldn't win it with Aiyuk. But I wouldn't trade him unless they got over the top compensation for him. I think Williams and Mccaffrey will pick up more injuries as they get older. As will Deebo and Then I think they will eventually regret paying Purdy the boatload he will get next season. The Lions and the Pack will be the new obstacle in front of us if we ever get our act together.
Right but it's easy signing a wide receiver right demands money you should just pay it pay the man why'd you overpay Christian McCaffrey why would you pay a running back that kind of money what GM in his right mind and what owner would drag his feet if it's so evident that a dude is elite don't be cheap stop being cheap stop making mistakes paying the wrong people pay the man what he's demanding why does it take forethought in negotiations I don't get it,

note sarcasm... :muttley: Literally the same things are being said about our owners because we can't get lamb and parts inside fast enough we can't sign Prescott we take too much time to think no it's called the gotiations but I am serious about that I mean if this dude was everything he said he was and by the way they're not getting over the top compensation no one's giving the man that kind of compensation knowing what he's demanding on the other end it's the same thing the San Francisco is taking their time because they're trying to figure out how to fit them into their salary cap well imagine giving up a first and 1&3 + 33 million..

Anyone who's suggesting the Dallas Cowboys or anyone else who's already got a top paid pure #1 wide receiver like somebody mentioned Miami also ridiculous the Dallas Cowboys ridiculous this should have never even been a forethought for any of our fans you think there was even a possibility most teams are not gonna do this they can't only teams are looking for a true number one and have the money.

People need to be real there aren't many teams are gonna be able to do both of those things give up that kind of compensation for a guy that hasn't proven that by himself without a lot of other receivers to draw coverage you remember what they said about CD lamb they were worried can he handle it when he is the guy when other teams can green plan just for him and he's not covered up by ridiculous amounts of talent like he is in San Francisco what will he do? With a? Like that it's gonna be tough to wanna give up a first and a third and a over $30 million contract..

So you're right San Francisco should just step up sign him right now today no thought why would you need to think if the man's great and you know it then you don't let talent get away like that isn't that what they say around here that you shouldn't have to think about it that you shouldn't have to take time and negotiate and get it figured out?

Which I'm also betting there's gonna be an awful lot of good wide receivers out there next year the ones who have been demanding trades that have not yet been signed a lot of guys like with the Bengals and you have this guy and you're going to have some others who saw Sanders get 27-28 million for being a true like a #2 people got their hand out now they opened up the floodgates for wide receivers demanding high money and teams are gonna have to let some of them go..

Next year is the must win ring for the 9ers, as Brock will be due a huge contract in 2025. I don't see a reason why they trade Aiyuk as it leaves them think at WR, and no guarantee Deebo stays healthy all year. Trade Aiyuk,, Deebo goes down and their season is over

Niners would be insane to trade him here to Dallas. Aint happening.

Maybe? We'd have more than 1 great receiver anyways.

If the 49ers fire their ball boy, Jerald would sign him.
Aiyuk wanted a trade a month ago. Then about 2 weeks ago he announced he wanted badly to stay with the 49ers. Now he wants out.
49ers might know something the rest of the league does not.
Caviar emptor.

The Cowboys sorely need to deal with their own salary problems, rather than taking on the problems of other teams. There's no way they'd be able to take on the salary issues of the 49ers if they can't even rectify their own. They have greater issues at other positions than WR.

I would bet that either the commanders pick him up or he is forced to stay with sf for one more year. If things were different and he came here, i wouldnt say boo...but we all know that isnt going to happen.

Niners seem to have a problem at wr. Their rookie Ricky Pearsall apparently is hurt or something and isn't even participating in anything. Hes on the NFI list. Dude didn't even make it to camp and he's hurt. He had an injury in college too I think. Aiyuk wanting out now has gotten more interesting for them. I think in the end they will have to resign him or extend him. The wr is holding their feet to the fire.
