5 favorite role players in Cowboys history

Kenny "The Shark" Gant. Can't come up with 5 but he was my number one favorite. Every time he broke out the shark dance you knew it was a good day.

Gant was the first name that came to mind.

1. Gant
2. Brock Marion
3. Erick Williams
4. Terry Glenn
5. Michael Downs - just loved the name as a kid

Mark Stepnoski
Randall Godfrey
Keith Davis
George Teague
Kevin Gogan

Funny, all but Keith Davis are in my 5. I'd go with Chad Hennings instead. Tony McGee (former Bengals TE) might get a sarcastic vote from me for all the TDS he caught for us on the "fall down and then run to the corner of the endzone" plays we ran back when Bruce Coslett was the OC...

The only damn play that ever worked with any kind of regularity during that era.

If they were starters then they were not role players.

Dan Reeves, original role player

Bill Bates, made it a career

Kelvin Martin, perfect slot

Kenneth Gant, the Shark.

Marion Barber, when he played for Big Bill, before Jerry paid him for something he could never be.

Preston Pearson
