He had a 90 yard TD run against Alabama.

His speed isn’t an issue.
Hes quick. Not exceptionally fast. He will be tracked down in the NFL. Not that he will ever have those kind of holes where there is no one around him 10 yards downfield.

Im not rooting against the kid. I want all of our picks to succeed. And Im probably one of the few who actually likes our draft overall.

Dude put up 133 on Bama's NFL defense............the same defense that totally shut down all-world Bijan (57 yds on 21 carries).
You take out the 88 yard run that looked like a completely busted alignment by Bama and he was (45 yds on 21 carries)

Shhhhh!!!!! Your facts are going to ruin the feel-good story narrative about how Deuce single-handedly dominated Alabama defense.

Its not about that.

But a guy that only averaged 5.6 yards a carry yet still had these long runs should tell people something. Cause hes not getting those long runs in the NFL. Not even in preseason. Then whatcha got left?

This isn't anywhere NEAR the typical 6th round pick. Jerry said that he was the highest rated player on their board all day.

As a pure football player, he is off the charts. His height and weight is what held him back....period.
He can hide behind all the huge linemen

Lmao calm down
He reminds of Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Adrian Peterson, and Christian McCaffery all in one player

A six round draft pick shouldn’t get me excited but after seeing these highlights wow. Regardless of his size, he makes a lot of defenders look silly and basically puts them on skates. I hope he survives the cuts and if Emmitt is cool with it, let him wear 22. I’d buy his jersey so fast lol….Side note between zeke hanging out with dak and what jerry said about zeke… we may dealing with a reunion (unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you feel about it)

Favourite Pick of the Draft. His Highlight Tape could go 1h with jaw dropping plays against elite College Teams.

Hes Darren Sproles 2.0.

Love this kid but Darren Sproles? So far, there has only been one of him.
There's been quite a few smaller backs successful in the nfl. Sproles is just the most obvious of the comparisons, even went to the same school.

Rotational value will expand usages for the offense.

I immediately see scheme confusion appearing with Turpin, Vaughn, and Pollard all on the field at the same time...and then throw in CD Lamb and Cooks. Pass/run

Whatever he did at KC State can get thrown out the window. The NFL is not KC State. He will not see those huge holes to run through in the NFL and he is going to get hit by bigger stronger faster guys. If this kid makes the team it will be for gimmick plays only, or he has to add about 10 lbs to his frame without losing his quickness. Turpin was a star in the XFL with a lot of players better than college teams. You see how Turpin did not light the league on fire. Deuce won't either. Nothing against the pick, but it is the 6th round where most picks don't make it.
Look again and with actual knowledge on growth and leadership in developing talents...
