Lets see they were black and it was a group of them making noise and then you drive to and you see a car filled with a group of black people in the description. The person who made the call metioned nothing about them being in a car. Do you pull them over?

Are they making noise?

You ALWAYS have the right to remain silent.

I know that. But say, they're like, hey, we'd like to bring you down to the station for questioning....

Can I refuse?

The water was calm and the air was crisp with just a slight breeze, it was a great day to be out on the water.

Yea when I was like 13 I was profiled by a cop. I was carrying a load of laundry from across the street (we did not have a Washer in the house and there was an apartment laundry mat right across from the house). I fit the description of kids that where in a carwash messing around a couple blocks away.

LOL cop ask me what I was doing I said the laundry what does it look like :lmao2: as I held a basket of dry clothes

I had just pulled up in my driveway (came from six flags) and this cop pulls up to us and he's like we heard some one stole something from someones house and threw it on their lawn or something like that. Then where like it wasn't us we just pulled up. Then he goes i know what your thinking your think freakin dbag cop. We are like what and then he like you sitting thier drinking your lil juicey juice and im just trying to do my job. Then he drives off. like.............

Yes, but it is not in your best interests. You will go from being detained to being arrested so that they can conduct the questions they want answers to if what they need to know is serioues enough.

Not worth it.

Sure you can.....but your going anyway. Thing is I doubt they take you down to the station for questioning. They would do a field interview first. And if you said something that made them think you were lying you would then be taking in for further questioning and possibly the victim identifying you

An amazing amount of comment on this story.....I'll reserve judgment until I hear more.

Doesn't matter, half the board made up their mind on the incident without knowing there might possibly be another side and no one believes a friend of the accused.

I definetely wanted to wait for more info.

The thread isn't about the story any more and hasn't been for many, many pages.

The Lake.

Lake Travis.

Hundreds of boaters. Swimmers. Sun-bathers.

And criminals.

Somewhere out there, there's a Chicago Bears running back who is just asking for it.

I'll give it to him.

My partner and I.

Encore! Encore!

The point of that post that you didnt understand is that people DO think LIKE YOU do.

Got it.

Heck I was handcuff and arrested for breaking into a car, problem was it was my car. I had accidently locked my keys in my car and was using a hanger to trying and open the car door. I saw a police car approaching me and I waved him down he then got out made me get up against the car, searched me and hauled me to the town jail.

D101 another reason for carrying two sets of keys. Wow what a story.

If you had ended it with "I wear a badge" I might have had an accident.
