A Few Things That Were Made Perfectly Clear Today

Make no mistake, I'm all in on Dak and he very well might be better than Tony and I hope like hell he is because he'll go to the HOF, but I'm not buying he gives us the best chance to make the playoffs and win in his rookie year.

And if I'm wrong about that we're going to multiple Super Bowls for a long time so I'm good.

You're wrong friend but like you said, that is a good thing. Within the next decade I see us having way more playoff wins with Dak than we did with Romo. Dak plays smart ball and has ALL the physical tools to worth with. I just love the fact he doesn't hike the ball at zero seconds and can still read defenses just fine too.

Denial is an ugly thing. It will take you a while but you will eventually see the light. Dak is better than Tony. He gives us the best chance to win.

Wow to all of you fleeting Romo fans. Just wow.

Yep..

What they need to say is..

"we will leave DAK in UNTIL he struggles then green light Tony"

Even Tony should accept that.

He's supposedly a team player.

If DAK doesn't struggle..

Tony doesn't come in.

Bingo. If Romo truly cared for the team he would do everything he can to fully heal and then be the backup as long as Dak stays hot and we keep winning. Dak is going to do everything in his power to ensure Romo doesn't get his job back... and that's a good thing for us fans.

LOL

Considering Dak looks to be closer to RG3 rookie numbers... But stats can be misleading. The only real knock on Dak and the gameplan is the fact that he RARELY throws farther than 10-15 yards

And its not because guys arent open. He chose not to throw it to TDub several times yesterday for wide open big gains

I like Tony as a person but i'm done with wanting him to be the starter here. Too old, brittle, and slow. Dak gives us the best chance to win and that is what I care about the most.

Are you complaining about us winning and a QB that doesn't turn over the ball?

All you leaving the Romo train, remember this, as more teams get film on Dak, there are some troubles ahead for the rookie.

Completely excited, but he is not Romo yet or even in the same stratosphere and will need to make those throws to win big games in the very near future

You're just NOW done? After all these years? Talk about revisionist history...

1. Daks Poise and Patience...we definitely have our QB of the Future. Competition should start next year for the starting spot. He can still learn from watching Romo if and when Romo is totally healthy. There still no need to rush him back as long as we keep winning.

2. Dez's "immaturity" is not a ME OVER TEAM immaturity. Yes he can handle some situations better, but he clearly still loves football, and he loves this team. His passion for the game has not left him since getting paid.

3. As Mo Claiborne continues to gain confidence, he is only going to get better. He is the only CB on our team who looks for the ball while it is in the air, and his fundamentals are better than decent. We hurt his development a lot putting him a lot with our early defensive scheme in his early years. Mo is a man corner. Mo was the reason we stopped our first drive today when the game could have gotten out of hand, and he balled out int he 4th to secure the victory when Butler tried to mess that up. (More on this later).

4. Zekes patience is gradually coming. He still needs to develop a little more patience, and then the league should beware.

5. For all those who question Dez's WR ability and think that Beasley is our best receiver....evidently opposing Defenses still think Dez is our number 1 guy. Beasley saw more attention than he has seen in the NFL. He all but disappeared until the last play to seal the game, and then the Niners D was as shocked as I was that the Cowboys called an unexpected play to seal the game. Side note..Our outside WR saw more action than they seen in a while. It truly proves that Dak is not whistling dixie when he says he goes through his progressions and throws to the open man.

6. All of our receivers (including TE) need to up their situational football thinking ability: Taunting Penalties, Not getting out of bounds, Fighting for needless yards and fumbling or getting injured, False starts....Somethings got to give.

Just my few pennies....

Dez is an overpaid infant. That is pretty much what we have learned. Beasley got what Dez gets most of the time and he pretty much disappeared like Dez does.

Dak proved that without his top two receivers he could still get it done. The kid is amazing. Loving Claiborne right now. Considering all the people that wrote him off.

As you can tell Im in support of Romo getting his job back, but Dak doesnt seem to have a trend, or a safety blanket. He truly takes what the D gives him. Thats a tough attribute for Defenses just to "figure out".

Almost everytime Anthony Brown has been targeted he'll snap his head back to try and locate the ball.

Even Wilcox had an excellent and very key 3rd down pass defensed where he looked back and made a great play good play on the ball.

LMAO, okay. You've been a Romo hater for years, don't try and act like you like the "person" Romo is.

Yeah we've got something there.

We always talk about finding a late round guy that turns into a superstar.

Not expecting it but I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a Richard Sherman or Josh Norman type.

Holy lee cow. As much as I love watching Dak play right now and know that he is the future, Romo is a better QB now when healthy. Anyone else thinking otherwise doesnt know football. If the defense can hold up, we have a Super Bowl quality offense with Romo at the helm this year. Play Romo if he gets hurt again, nothing wrong with Dak coming off the bench this year and next.
