Expected response. Dak need not be held responsible for any of his errors. No need for continual improvement. Turn the ball over in the Red Zone every game, it's fine. And to him, it probably is fine. He get (another) massive contract just like he wanted. He can't be cut. He's made.
This is nonsense. You're literally making things up that I did not say.

It's blah blah blah because you people do not know how to read.

Step 1: See "Dak"
Step 2: Pick a canned response

Step 1: See "Dak" turn the ball over in the red zone multiple times
Step 2: Pick a response that any level headed football fan would have
I fixed it for you.

They stupidly wasted a 2nd round pick on Schoonmaker because they weren't convinced that Ferguson was the real deal and would replace Schultz's production. This is still no excuse as they could have picked up a veteran TE in free agency. As far as forcing picks, they did the same this year with selecting Guyton because they stupidly moved Tyler Smith to guard. The reason for drafting the younger Smith was to replace the older, Tyron Smith. Instead they moved him to guard and after Tyron moved on, the geniuses in the front office thought they needed to draft another 1st round OL. Had they stuck with their original plan with Tyler Smith, perhaps they would have drafted that Florida guard over a do-nothing TE in 2023. Then this past draft they wouldn't have to needed to pick Guyton and instead maybe used their first round pick to grab one of the quality WRs - like Xavier Worthy - or even a DE.
I get drafting a TE. Ferguson was coming off his rookie season and Schultz was a free agent. Ferguson had not proved himself yet, but he did show promise. Schultz did nothing his rookie season either. I can see using a 4th round pick on a TE but a 2nd? For essentially a blocking TE? Seems like a reach.

3. Dowdle did battle all game but that Goal line fumble was inexcusable , any RB should know he can’t have the ball loose to be knocked out .
Yeah extending your arms like that is a move you save for 4th down, desperation time. It's was 2nd down. He pulled the ripcord too soon and thank goodness Dak saved our butt's jumping on the fumble. It still felt pretty hopeless on 4th down. That td is as excited as I've been since GB. I was sick of the Steelers extra circular nonsense.

Absolutely not true. Schooner was rated around the 4th round, way overdrafted. Schooner caught 35 passes his senior year. Caught 54 passes in 5 years.

What makes you think he was a 2nd round pick value?

Fergie had already looked like a quality starter. What makes you say he hadn't?
I thought Ferguson had clearly played well enough to be a solid starter before Schoonmaker was drafted.

Trade a future Hall of Famer that has already hinted at retirement after the season? Trade the leader of that O-line, the squad that typically sets the tone of a game?

What do you think that would do to team moral?

Do you think the team would be inspired to play their very best after witnessing the way this team's management disrespects one of the very best players in their history?

Zack Martin is a Dallas Cowboy. He spent his whole career as a Dallas Cowboy and will retire a Dallas Cowboy.

It is regrettable that Zack hasn't been part of a Cowboy championship team. His contribution over the previous 10 seasons deserves at least one. This is probably his last chance.

One of my greatest regrets at the Cowboys playoff ineptitude over the past 28 seasons has been to watch great Cowboys players exit their careers without a ring. That never happened in their first 28 seasons.

This is the line of thinking that sets the Cowboys down the path they have been on for thirty plus years and a team like the Patriots that won several championships in that same span of time.

Zack Martin is not the Zack Martin of several years ago. Much like Sean Lee, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Zeke Elliott, and many others. He is THE PAST, not the present or future of the Cowboys.

At some point the Cowboys have to start making the hard decision to honestly evaluate its players based on current and likely future performance rather than feel good stories. Making feel good decisions sells a lot of jerseys but it doesn’t win any championships.
