"Rebuilding" is an idiotic concept in sports, but especially in the NFL which has been a year-to-year league for some time now. Please stop embarrassing yourself.

Yep. That's the year you're looking at either a renegotiation and lowering of salary, or a release and turning the reigns over to someone else. I don't see this team reworking Romo's deal to put themselves in this kind of position again.
