Prosecutors: Aaron Hernandez "orchestrated the execution." http://deadsp.in/SiZGtEP

"it is, at bottom, a circumstantial case"- Hernandez atty Fee arguing against no bail

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 4m
Hernandez's attorney describes the case as a "circumstantial case, not strong." Says Hernandez has "never been accused of a violent crime"
Michael Fee, Hernandez's attorney, says throughout this all, Hernandez has "never fled." Says it would be "practically impossible"
Aaron Hernandez will be held "without bail," according to the judge. Hernandez's attorney had hoped he could return to fiancee & small baby

Robert Littal ‏@BlkSportsOnline 3m
Hernandez's lawyer saying he wants bail and not to be treated like a celebrity, but just wants to be treated fairly

ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 4m
Michael Fee says, on behalf of Aaron Hernandez, it is a "circumstantial" case that is "not strong."
Judge orders that Aaron Hernandez be held WITHOUT BAIL pending further proceedings.
Michael Fee is now complaining again about "false" reports -- which reports were false exactly?

Ted Daniel ‏@TedDanielFOX25 4m
Defense: It's a circumstantial case.
Defense: AH lives with his fiancé and 8 month baby. Deserves to go back
Defense: AH has cooperated the best he can. Would be impossible for him to flee b/c celebrity status
Defense: AH has clean record
Defense: Wants gag order

Jeff McLane ‏@Jeff_McLane 3m
NFL Network zooms in on Aaron Hernandez' handcuffed hands in court and one hand has the word "blood," among other things, tattooed on it.

I am amazed how people can look calm when going through something like this.

who here would be shocked if they put in subtext " Aaron Hernandez, Former Dallas Cowboys draft prospect" and not former New England patriot.

Really do we need to add that in here? Cowboys don't have a thing to do with this so there's no need to add foil-head conspiracy theory madness to it.

The Prosecution basically saying this was all over Hernandez not being happy the murder victim talked to some people at club he didn't like”

Aaron Wilson ‏@RavensInsider 1m
Prosecutor referred to murder of Odin Lloyd as an "execution," and accused defendant Aaron Hernandez of attempting to conceal evidence

ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk 2m
Michael Fee gets in a quick dig about the decision to "cuff and stuff" Hernandez despite discussions aimed at having him turn himself in.

Jeff McLane ‏@Jeff_McLane 4m
Thanks. I couldn't make out rest. RT @daverichard: it's a "blood sweat tears" tattoo, I believe

Wesley Lowery ‏@WesleyLowery 40m
Prosecutor: #Hernandez mad that Lloyd talked to people he didn't like on previous Friday night at Club Rumor.
Odin Lloyd's mother led out of court sobbing, no reaction from #Hernandez.
Hernandez's girlfriend/fiancé was sitting in back of courtroom in sunglasses. Left courthouse sobbing.

I'm kind of surprised with all the media storm over this that there haven't been teammates tweeting about this. You know all the "he's a really good guy" stuff.

They have brains. Who would want attention brought to them in something this huge?

I'm sure Patriots staff also gave them a disclaimer about using social media.

Hernandez logic... "Hey, lets rent a car so nobody knows who's car it was."

Rental car guy: "Just sign right here Mr. Hernandez."

Hernandez: "Done deed, now lets return the car before anybody knows we had that car." (Forgets to clean the car)

Rental car guy: "Thanks Aaron!".... "Here you go officer, there were some shell casings found as well."

Hernandez obviously put some thought into his actions that night.

Say what you want about the Pats. They don't mess around. Jerry would never do this

You don't know that. This is a rare, if not unprecedented situation. Depending on what information Jerry would be privy to, he may do exactly what the Patriots did. You can't compare anything that Jerry has faced to this Hernandez situation because it is so unique.

The legendary Pats never seem to stop being legendary.... even when their player is charged with murder. The player who had gang related red flags on draft day. But it's the Patriots, and they are legendary. Nobody does anything like the Patriots.

Not unprecedented at all. You forget Rae Carruth. Not only premeditated, but conspired to do it. Panthers didn't release him until he skipped bail after Cherica Adams died.

Not that this Mensa member was ever going to pull this off but, again how bout doing the crime in his own neighborhood a mile from his house? There are neighborhoods where gun shots are common in the middle of the night. He may as well have left a not on the body that said "Dear Police, please dont search my house, garage or cars. Sincerely Aaron Hernandez"

The guy is an idiot.

So sad. As senseless as this Hernandez case appears to be, I find it hard to believe it will match Carruth.

Wow. So the victim knew what was about to go down when he texted his sister about who he was with telling her "NFL" " just so you know"

Props for that reply.

Prosecutors believe they have a CRUCIAL piece of evidence that proves Aaron Hernandez murdered Odin Lloyd ... and the proof tastes like cotton candy.

As Aaron stood shackled in a Massachusetts courtroom moments ago, prosecutors spelled out their case against the former New England Patriots player.

During the hearing, prosecutors say they can prove Hernandez stopped at a gas station hours before the murder and purchased gas, cigarettes and BLUE COTTON CANDY FLAVORED BUBBLICIOUS BUBBLE GUM.

After Odin was murdered, investigators say they found a shell casing in his rental car that matched the caliber of the bullet used to kill the 27-year-old ... and next to the casing -- A CHEWED PIECE OF BLUE COTTON CANDY FLAVORED BUBBLICIOUS BUBBLE GUM.

So sloppy. You would think this guy is 12 years old. I'm waiting to read how he left a pair of bloody personalized sneakers or something in the trunk of the rental car.
