This didn't happen without Hardin wanting it to happen.

Looks like the only line AP is behind is the food line in jail.
Being arrested again for pot.
Being out on bail, he is likely headed to jail in the greater Houston area.

His attorney doesn't matter if the case is building against him. He used charity funds to have a sex party involving a minor. And now he's apparently going to be re-arrested for pot use. I bet more comes out between now and his trial with all the people digging through his trash. And if he's found innocent. He's going to be facing a long suspension. Probably at least a full season next year. I see no way he plays next year at this point. And if he is found guilty his career will essentially be over.

All the other stuff doesn't come into play. Those allegations were from a few years ago and have been investigated with no charges ever brought against Peterson. There is no story there, just a scandalous headline at this point.

He isn't getting 5 years of jail time for the child abuse charges. The maximum he could possibly get under Texas law for the charges he is facing is 2 years of jail time. The case will probably get plead down to a lesser charge and he will get some sort of probation since it is his first offense. He won't get suspended for more than 8 games if that happens.

Now the weed smoking may add to whatever suspension he was going to get.

I find it hard to believe we are in week 6 and fans already dissing our own looking at the grass on the other side of the fence. Peterson if he comes in not coming cheap this thought that he is going to come in here for nothing is total BS he will expect to be paid as a top RB so people need to wake up

Minn OL is not exactly chop liver. Murray has posted numbers in his 1st 5 games that even AP best season did not produce.

Even today many people believe in corporal punishment for the sake of their children and many more think Cannabis is harmless. In the end Adrian Peterson is still a beast of a NFL RB who wants to play specifically in Dallas.

Change is the one consistent in life, and in football. So don't get too bent about tides you have no control over, he may wash ashore with the Cowboys this Season.
