But with Hardy gone for 10 and us playing the Eagles and Giants both twice in the first nine games.

Were going to need to sign AP..... We dont have a choice!

:)

SJones said we AREN'T trading draft picks for a veteran. I'll take his choice over yours.

First of all, it's close to 80 rushing attempts. Second, twenty yards is not indicative of a home run hitter. That is medium range. Third, your statistics of twenty years in the NFL is, a majority of the era, a league built to stop the run. Nobody has run as close to Murray this season than for a long time. Fourth, none of this takes into account the stars of yards when Murray was first hit. Fifth, no the Eagles did not have that great of line and even if they did, the numbers still show around eighty carries less. Files played out of his mind, because if the system, but he was also under lots of pressure.

In the end, Murray carried almost eighty extra times and his 40+ carries went down from last year. That is a fact..

First off, we are not discussing the talent of Foles here. You said there wasn't a threat of a passing game for McCoy, Foles was throwing the ball well in 2013, there was a threat of a passing game. If you want to say it was the system, whatever, it doesn't matter. The Eagles have had a great run blocking line for a season and a half (They got significantly better in 2014 as the season went on).

40+ yard runs aren't going to jump much higher in with 50-80 carries more. The only fact here is, 20+-40+ yard runs aren't significantly high for nearly EVERY RB. Criticizing an RB for having 3,4,5 40+ yards in a season is not a valid criticism. It's absurd expectations and obvious bias.

lol. Did Murray help our pass rush last year?

Dream on. Stephen Jones just said on the Fan they aren't trading away their draft picks for a veteran player. Aka Peterson.

Murray dramatically helped our defense and offense. If he wouldn't have fumbled in the biggest game of the year and scored instead.. who knows we might have made the super bowl. Seattle was relieved GB won that game.. they wanted no part of us. Keeping your defense off the field drastically helps them.

Those are great great points.

Guys, it looks like we need to sign AP pronto; we have no choice now.

I should clarify here so no one thinks Peterson/Barber/Johnson/and Sanders do this on the norm; they only had one year each (I'm sure Sanders had more, but this only goes back to 1996) where their 20+/40+ yards were high. Great accomplishments, but even for the legends (I'm not talking about Johnson), it's low for them as well nearly every year.

Our defense wasn't helped when Aaron Rodgers had all day to throw, was moving the ball with ease. And the last winning drive, no pressure came at him. Yup, our running game sure helped there.

The Jones' knew the potential of a long suspension for Hardy. This isn't going to change the plans.

Maybe he is saying we won't trade THIS years draft picks for him... but instead we will trade next years. You have to believe man.

He said draft picks for a veteran. I have to believe man, he means that veteran isn't coming here for this years or next years draft picks.

Key words.. "I don’t see that happening" "I don’t see us using any picks" Notice how he said "We will not use any draft picks"? Nothing in his interview was absolute. You will be very sad when you find out AP is going to be our starter in 2015.

Coleman...I don't think Gurley/Gordon will be there and Ajayi has fumbling and knee concerns.

Coleman is my pick too.

I think Gurley is long gone and I don't want Gordon and I feel Coleman is a superior running back to him anyway.

Yeah, minus Gurley and Gordon, I would choose Coleman. I do think he has a chance to be real good. I would like to pair a big, bruising back with him and have the two of them wear teams out.

Honestly, that might be the best situation for Dallas.

I would rather it be Gordon and a big back but Coleman is a good alternative, IMO.

Gurley and Gordon are going to be bad*** backs though. I'd love to have either one of them.

Listen, barely any team can stop Rodgers in GreenBay. Our defense was scrubby last year but they still did a good job thanks to Murray keeping them off the field and energized. Rodgers is elite and he is going to get his. We were very close to winning that game. Keep in mind Greenbay didn't lose one game all year at home.

I think we will have a legit shot at Gordon. He is my pick.

True enough. Maybe he just wanted to send a message he wasn't going to send more then one pick...?

Guys we gotta sign AP , Hardy is gone for 10.

One has nothing to do with the other and Hardy's suspension won't be ten games anyway.
