Our Oline is good but they aren't miracle workers. You want to build for the future? I have no problem with that.. but what are you going to do RIGHT NOW when we have about a 2 year window at max with a good QB? You can't roll the dice with DMF and a rookie rb... unless that rookie is extremely good.. think Gurley/Gordon.

I want Gordon or Gurley and would not have a problem with the Cowboys moving up to get one of them, a move for the Super Bowl win.

That doesn't mean anything. That doesn't mean they won't be on draft day depending on how things are going.

If I'm the Cowboys and I miss out on Gurley and Gordon in this draft, I would offer the Vikings a 2016 2nd round draft pick assuming that Peterson would play for about 7 million a year.

They would have had interest in him if the cut him and he was willing to play for below market value

That fantasy ended quickly

I really don't see them going RB until RD 3 unless Coleman falls in rd 2. I really believe there will be a OMG moment on Friday when the Vikings trade AD for a low pick or player or a high pick from next year.

I would like the Cowboys to get AP and keep this years draft intact, giving up a pick in next years draft would be a lot better.

first running back drafted
2014 - 54th
2013 - 37th
2012 - 3rd, then 31st
2011 - 28th
2010 - 9th, then 12th, then 30th

Is it possible that Gurley gets drafted before 27? Absolutely. Is it possible that Gurley and Gordon are drafted before 27? Yes, but is it likely based on trends and recent history? I don't think it is likely.

Yeah, there is just so much speculation out there right now. Anything can happen int he draft.. we can trade back and then take Coleman or one of the "other" rb's beside Gurley or Gordon. Or we could trade up and try to get Gordon. Also, we could just sit tight and take one of the top corners. Just so many possible scenarios that it almost isn't even worth talking about. :)

I think the Vikings get what they can and he is gone!

Give us a pick or two.. Don't know how high those picks are....

Take his contract. His distraction is a negative for Zimmer.

Some team will give up picks Nd take contract or create new one comparable.

Then why hasn't it happened?

Day 2 when we haven't selected a RB yet. The Vikings will come calling so we don't take a rb. If we take a RB the Vikings ability to move AD for something remains only with AZ at that point. Not good in other words
