My only question.

Will this thread make 170 pages?

In 2007 if we had a legitimate running back like Jackson, I have no doubt that we win the super bowl, hell he might have been the difference in 2006 as well. I don't think we were as far out as you think in those years, but compare the difference in running back production between him and Julius Jones/Marion Barber/Felix Jones over the years. He would have made us super bowl contenders and I have no doubt about that.

convenient that you forget about the collapse of the d in 2006. And if you really think jackson would have made the difference in 2007 then you are smoking something very strong and i would like some of it.

The perfect scenario is that Todd Gurley falls to us. Everybody's talking like he'll be gone before the mid to late twenties, but there's a chance he falls considering he's a running back and he's injured.

This talk that Jerry wants Adrian is silly. It was Adrian who called Jerry on his cellphone wanting to play for the Cowboys. Jerry also reported it to the NFL so this idea that he tampered with trying to get Adrian to play for the Cowboys is silly.

However, I can see him becoming a Cowboy IF:

- He is willing to take a massive pay cut to play for the team he covets and redo his contract to more thats reasonable.

- The Vikings are willing to trade him for a reasonable and sensible draft pick - lets say 3rd or 4th rounder. I doubt they get a 1st or 2nd for Adrian.

- Adrian is cut and he becomes a FA. Then he takes a pay cut to come and play for us.

Can someone who lives in Dallas, can you please run to the liquor store clerk and see if he has any info on AP? Between this thread and the anticipation to the draft I am going to have a heart attack. Thanks!!!

Casserly on the nfl network is saying if he was the Vikings that he would want two #1's for Peterson. I can't believe anyone would ever do that for a 30 year old RB.

Gurley will be gone before pick #10 IMO.

I posted this yesterday the three top backs will likely be gone. Detroit sent their RB coach to coleman's pro day...strong indication a team has interest...Miami herald reported yesterday the dolphins are hoping Gurley falls to them at 14...Ravens, cards, and bolts all interested in Gordon. So that leaves Ajayi who has fumbling and knee issues...no thanks...now who Yeldon, Johnson, Abdullah? Again just reporting what these teams said yesterday.

If all else fails, just grab Ajayi in the late 2nd or 3rd rounds.................we only need his knee to hold up for 3 seasons or so because that is Romo's shelf life. Once Romo is gone, it really doesn't matter who the RB is since we will be in full rebuild mode.
