Nope. If there was a line in Vegas on it (and there probably is at some sleazy dive off the strip...) the odds would be pretty up there on him being a Cowboy come Game 1, or at all this year.
I'm not showing my support for or against the acquisition of AP. I'm just stating a semi-educated guess.

Nothing would please me more than for AP to be a Cowboy. But, really, I just cannot find a way that it could happen.

So is he signing today then ? I heard from a guy who heard from a guy who knows a girl who is friends with another girl who swears she knows a guy who knows a cousin who is 3rd cousins with a guy who is friends with AP's ex girlfriends dog walkers cousin that he was signing with Dallas today.. It has to be true

The Vikings are adamant about not trading Peterson, because:

A) He's still their best player when healthy obviously, and they're a team on the rise right now, and

B) Because he puts the fans in the stands. The NFL is a business first, football league second, and they need to sell season tickets. AD does that.

If they were going to keep him they would have converted some of base salary into a new signing bonus like Buffalo did with McCoy. It is called a gesture of good faith after he was hung out to dry(his opinion).
