I will list the entire statement not 1 line

...................and it looks like somebody is getting emotional......if "they" are offended, I guarantee they were offended before they met me. Try to understand that.

and I commented in detail with detailed facts on our cap problems about 10 other times in this thread having adult conversations with Cowboys fans. Maybe I should have recommended a chill pill to the ones that were offended. This is football so If "they" can't handle a discussion maybe "they" should take a break.

So be happy with your new found friends and have a real adult "RARA football discussion" with them.
i will find myself someone else who has more insight then suggesting cutting Lee or other meaningfull ideas.

I never thought I'd be saying this but Ware needs to renegotiate his contract. Miles needs to renegotiate his as well or play elsewhere. Free is a bargain right now.

No Miles needs to go. This shouldn't even be debated in Jerry's mind, though I'd put nothing past him.

we can save 9-9.2 million by restructuring Romo deal dropping our cap to 139 being just 11 over.
give Ware a new 4 or 5 year deal will cut the cap another 12-13 million and now we are under the cap. Bam that easy
Miles a June 1st cap cut and we have another 3.93 savings but will have a 3.91 dead money cap hit next year
If we need to we can restructure Carr and save another 6 million
if needed we can restructure witten and save another 4 million
restructure Lee would save about 5 million

Free is a guy we need to look at. Cutting him will save us 3 million. This is another guy where signing him to a new 2 or 3 year deal might help us. If he stays next year he is a 6.5 million cap hit.

I'm almost scared to give Free another long-term deal, but I do think he's found his game again. Age might be a factor, though, that convinces Dallas to just let him play out his deal and go from there.

Just have to make it the right deal.

Dallas can get under the cap by restructuring Romo and Ware(they can also cut him or trade him)

They can restructure Witten, Lee, Carr, Scandrick and Bern and cut Costa and Durant to get to 15m under the cap

They can get another 9m by designating Austin and Orton as June 1st cuts(can't use the money until June 2nd)

They can be very aggressive in FA and can also extend Dez, TSmith and Bailey

Losses- Ware, Hatcher, Austin, Costa, Durant, Orton
Pickups and Draft- DE, DL, OLB, FS, OG and QB

Side note: Justin Tuck is speculated to get cut, I would love to pull a Canty on the Giants and sign him.

Considering about 60% of our cap is made up of our top 6 players..

3 of whom are not playing well or at all due to injury or chronic injury..

..you'll have to do the math.

The Giants and Skins have more cap room b/c their entire teams suck. What are there, a dozen good players between them?

Since when has wash spent cap $ wisely? ; )

They have made schematic changes in the OL scheme this season to compensate for Free and allow him to be ok. He has a lot of limitations.

He's not a liability though. Bring back Waters, if not draft a guard. Free and Parnell are good. Bern can backup guard and center, TFred and TSmith are anchors.

Dallas better start preparing themselves now for rather large cap hit on Romo contract. He might be nothing more than part-time player going forward considering type of chronic injury he has. There is no way they can keep that contract on books if he isn't full time player. Good news is after Ratliff, Austin, Romo contracts come off the books...dallas has room to breath for next era.

Man..

That's just hard to take after 16+ years of supporting a loser team here.

What are you saying..?

Another 3-5 years of THIS?

No way.

I'm becoming a Texans fan after 45 yes as a Boys fan,

They will be in a playoff game and SB game way sooner than this pirate ship of an Organization.

Please point out any errors smart guy

You had only posted ideas nothing where someone can exactly show errors.

Please list exactly how your restructures would look like to get to your aim thats being 15mils under the cap. After that we can discuss your plan.

even Stephen has admitted things are tight. yet you say you know better

Stephan repeatedly avoided questions about "his" cap management by laughing about the questions.
In recent years he tried to let people look silly. People who to me asked the right questions and where concerned by Dallas' cap strategy.

Now he admits that we are in a tight cap situation. A situation that had come from exactly his cap strategy.

It's one thing to be bad at doing something (like i see Stephen when it comes to cap mangement). But i really have a problem with people (like stephen) who tries to sugercoat his own mistakes and shortcomming by making jokes out of people who actualy ask the right questions.

Our cap management sucks. We delay cap costs again and again and again. It like the american banks used to do it before the big crash 4 years ago. Now europe came to safe the american economy (and of course alot of loyal american taxpayer). But the essence is, sombody has to pay debts. and dead money because of signing bonuses and restructure bonuses are depts. But nobody will pay those depts for an franchise under cap restraints.

For years now we are able to get under the cap by restructuring contracts. Finally we find ourself in a situation where even after resturcturing we find ourselfs in a tight cap situation.

It would improve the play of all 3 interior guys if the RT was better. The compensation for Free in the scheme makes their jobs more difficult.

Waters will not sign before training camp is over. They can't wait that long to add a Guard. Right now, they are 1 injury away from Phil Costa either starting at Guard or Fred moving to Guard with Costa at Center.
