This is a Cowboys type move due to his draft pedigree. I'm not opposed to taking a flyer on him. The change of scenery may payoff for him and the light may go on. Maybe Philbin and McCarthy are the voices he needs.

Mayock was considered the top draftnik as well. Supposedly his mock draft were considered the best. I guess he got most of his picks from his connections around the league.

Jerry was dumb for releasing Collins. For one thing, Collins is a good player. Secondly, he plays OT. I bet the Cowboys wish they had an OT like him on their roster now.

Pretty sure Davis hired Gruden directly. Mayock came in a year after.

Nope, he was terrible in the preseason.

Just read up on him. Apparently he was terrible his entire rookie year. Like really bad. You would have to be to be a 1st round draft pick one year and get cut the next.

While he did start all 17 games last season, Leatherwood ended up being graded out as one of the worst offensive lineman in the NFL.

Leatherwood was called for 14 penalties last year, the 3rd most in the league, and gave up eight sacks, which was 2nd most.

His 65 total pressures allowed were also the most given up in the NFL last year, showcasing his inability to even be an average pass protector.

Leatherwood received a final grade from Pro Football Focus of 45.0 overall, which was third to last among tackles.

Strengths: He has many leather bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Weaknesses: Can't play.
