History will repeat itself....we’ll lose the first two without Zeke then JJ will sign him. Then we go to and win the SB...be patient fans
The problem is, this time around, the first 2 are against the Giants and Commanders. Lose those, and you're probably out of the playoffs already, because you still have both games against the Eagles left and you'd better believe the Eagles aren't losing 2 games out of the 4 WAS/NYG games.

Better have a doctor check you @WillieBeamen and @PAPPYDOG out. Don't want y'all to get gravely ill all of a sudden.

Your a card and a real wild card. What Cowboy fan would be happy having Morris( Nice guy) replace Zeke?
Do you comprehend what this will do to our upcoming season?
Like I've stated here many times there is a group of you who simply work for the Dak PR dept and sell Dak all day long.
Its the only explanation with the exception being your all related to Dak or are Dak incognito....

In 2015, McFadden alone put up the 4th highest rushing yardage total, and at 4.6 YPC. This doesnt include the committee contributions.

In the draft, there wasnt a top QB at #4 and any QB would have been a huge reach. Zeke was a generational RB prospect, we were a team with a great OLine and a run first mentality. We were drafting QB later and a strong run game is huge for a rookie QB.

What you're saying is absurd. We had the 4th overall pick due to a year of hell at QB, not due to a bad running game. How many QBs started that year? 4?

And if RB by committee was acceptable, we wouldn't have gone RB at 4.

Come on. This isn't hard.

Y'all literally arguing that RB isn't important and we did fine .... yet, with the 4th overall pick we draft a RB.

It was an overreaction to what happened in 2015. They drafted Elliott thinking that was the problem in 2015, when in fact, running the ball wasn’t the real issue.

Yes. That McFadden/Randle combo was so deadly that we got 87 rushing yards from the pair after we drafted Zeke.

Don't sleep on that a RB like Darius Jackson couldn't be just as good as Ezekiel Elliott. Not much difference from starters and backups. Don't think so? Commanders had Stephen Davis as their backup for 3 years before they gave him a chance to become a starter and he went to the Pro Bowl for a couple of years. Sometimes it is the front office who have a high pick they push vs a low round player or UDFA type they keep on the sideline.

We had the highest paid OL in the NFL. The run game runs thorough them, not who's at RB. The 2015 and 2017 years proved that. The 2019 is light years better than the 2015 team and better than the 2017 team. They can handle it without Zeke.

They would have taken Wentz if they had a high enough pick. Zeke and Ramsey were fall back options

They drafted Zeke because he was the highest rated player on their board. If Bosa hadn't went to the chargers at number 3 he would have been the pick and not Zeke.

The fact you think they drafted Zeke at 4 because how bad the season was before is the problem. They drafted number 4 overall because of terrible QB play. You are arguing against that and you're wrong.

If nothing else, Morris could and should be a good influence on Ezekiel whenever he decides to return. He's a good guy and a smart one. I'm hoping Zeke listens to him and will be smart enough to respect his knowledge and influence. There's much to be said in favor of those traits. He'll be a good mentor. ;)

They Drafted Zeke at no 4 as correctly stated Bosa was gone. Zeke was the pick to fill the Murray gap and the thinking was Romo+Zeke+Bryant our offense would have been pretty much unstoppable......a TRUE Triplets deal.....

Zekes holdout is nothing like Gordon holding out or Bell hold out last year. The Cowboys offense is based on the running game!! The Chargers have already proven they can win throwing the football. Steelers can too but they already had a very good RB in Conner. This team without Zeke is not gonna make the playoffs. They dont have a chance against the Eagles without Zeke. They would of lost to the Seahawks last year without Zeke. People are under estimating his value.
