I was going to type the same thing. Keeping Dez is going to make us much more dynamic!!!Cutting Dez makes us a worse team. Now Hurns + Dez is exciting.

They're already at odds.
OH now i see....then Hell yeahIm talking about Bease and a third this year and a comp 4th maybe. Or 3rd and 3rd next season plus bease
Also with Hurns being a bigger target hopefully putting him in the slot sometimes for deeper crossing routes with Dez will help keep defenses honest. I even think with this group I think Dez could be moved around a little more since all three should be able to run similar routes.
That's where I was going with it lolOH now i see....then Hell yeah
Nah. They won't risk them getting hurt. If something doesn't shake out before the draft, it'll be shortly after. If they don't have a trade offer, I would think they'll take them all to camp. That gives them a chance to put them on display and also wait to see if other teams have injuries that make them need a receiver.
I think he should take #80.Respekt

What is this slot you speak of? (Keep it PG)I'll be surprise if either is used that much in the slot. That's more creative than our staff usually gets.
SJ may have more power but do you think that his Pop will let him can one of his favorite players. Its one thing to change his mind about a draft pick its another when its a guy JJ has a personal attachment to.Somewhere Stephen Jones is snickering and thinking: "No, it isn't."
Maybe 81 if you squint Hurns looks a little like Ismail.I think he should take #80.
Have not had a good one of those since Tony Hill and then Harper. Get lost Gathers.
tex--- what do you see the Hurns signing as it relates to Dez?

Switzer and Brown are living on borrowed time, IMO. Switzer disappointed last season as a returner, and Thompson replaces him. Hurns could push Williams out of a job. All three of the top Cowboys WR corps from the last few seasons are now candidates for draft day trades.
Personally, I think he's the perfect guy across from him. He runs crisp routes and has great hands. He is money on timing routes and knows how to find the holes in the zone. In other words, he's e everything Dez isn't. I think Hurns can make people pay for rolling coverage to Dez and/or bracketing (if he stays). I really think this is a good signing for us and he fits our current offense better than just about anyone else that we available.
It is, but Dez + Ridley + Hurns + Beasley + Thompson + TWill is even more exciting.
