I missed it.. How did my girl do?

Lauren slayed both songs. She was marvelous. Hailey had a rocky first song but closed the show with the best rendition of House of the Rising Sun I have ever heard.

i thought Scotty and Lauren both had great nights overall. Top three is still Lauren, Scotty and James.

I wasn't all that excited by James tonight but my wife thought he did great. Thought his first song was better than the second.

Jacob should be gone at this point. He is not even in the same ball park as the other four contestants.

Jacob committed AI suicide tonight, it may have been the worst final 5 performance in Idol history.

I seriously wish I could've met her before she got famous.. Oh well....

I agree.

The singing as a whole just wasn't good at all.

This group appears to be losing steam after being so strong at the onset.

Their genres are more conducive to it and they will have more longevity.

And the top three will more than likely Lauren, Scotty and James.

Even when the judges wanted to sleep on her I knew she was the best because she's got that POWER and nobody else on this show can put that umph into it like she can.

I'm loving it.

I love Hailey. I would buy her album in a heart beat. But if you vote based on the performances, of the ones that are left, she is the most inconsistent.

She (and all of the others for that matter but Hailey to a greater extent due to her genre) will need a lot of mentoring. Her voice is indeed powerful but she needs to learn to control it. Jacob has a powerful voice as well, but he can't control it consistently.

James irks me too with all his cryin + skinny jeans.

He did good last week.

Scotty is the prototypical country singer but he makes these goofy faces that I can't stand and holds the mic like a flute.

Lauren is solid but doesn't wow me.
