Lilly could sing too. I thought she was sure bet for top 10. I couldn't believe it either.

Alex had the most distinguished voice for the guys. Yeah, he was a little inexperienced, but take it from someone who sings himself, if America could judge talent, there is no way he would have been going home today.

Twitter has been literally littered every minute for the past two hours with W T F messages concerning Alex's dismissal.

Im so dissapointed in Lilly going home. I thought her uniqueness would last. I dont think Paige deserved a Top 12 spot, ditto Tim. I think Katelyn Epperly also deserved more opportunity than Katie.

I will puke if Katie ends up winning the whole thing.

This season sucks so hard. A3 A6 A9 are the worst seasons evah. See a pattern?

What I like most about Idol is watching these kids develop along the way. I would have enjoyed watching Alex, his voice was unique.

i only based what i said on didi's voice nothing else. taylor swift's voice is OK but not great. i'm not going to deny the girl's talent as a songwriter. she's great & all, but in terms of singing i think didi is better.

So, the top 12 are set.
The obvious top 2 for me are Big Mike from the guys and Crystal from the girls.
My dark horse picks are Siobahn Magnus and Andrew Garcia.

Crystal is obviously the most complete contestant right now, but I think she has peaked. She is great, but I don't see her revealing much more in the upcoming weeks. I wouldn't be surprised to see Siobahn or Andrew build momentum over the next few weeks & mount a challenge.

So true. I believe Alex had the most potential that could have been realized in such a situation. I was hoping for him. All he had to do was gain a little bit of confidence and put some more emotion into his singing and he could have been the front runner for the guys.

He was in trouble for a while. He was getting by on talent alone while alienating the mullet wearing men of America by only going half mullet. Never halfway grow out your mullett. You either go for broke like Jared Allen or just trim that darn thing right off.
