This show is dying. As soon as Simon is gone, it is dead.

This is the first season I remember since I began watching about 3 or 4 seasons ago that there is no one I'm really looking forward to hearing and watching them perform.

No charisma from anyone yet.

I agree...Simon jumping ship at the right time.

They need a show with bands, who do all originals. I think that'd be a better way to go because there is so much more these kinds of talents can to when they work with their own band.

Show's been dead for quite awhile. Just took awhile for the euphoria and the novelty of it to wear off. Like Ultimate Survivor.

the ladies performed last night, & here's who i thought did really well:

siobhan magus-sang "house of the rising sun" & sang it well. i think she's a contender, & she's so adorable too.

crystal bowersox-sang "give me one reason" & played electric guitar on it, which i thought was cool. sang great. i could definately see myself enjoying her music on the radio.

lilly scott-sang one of my favorite patsy cline songs "i fall to pieces" & did a great job singing it. also played mandolin on it, which i thought was cool. defiantely a contender along with the other two mentioned here.

I got to watch for the first time in weeks. Big Mike Lynche knocked it out of the park. My wife and daughter were in tears and so was one of the judges. That was incredible.

The boys are such snoozers this year. A girl will definately win it. I think it will come down to Lilly and Crystal. Lilly is my favorite, along with Katelyn. Im starting to like Siobahn and Lacey too.

Yeah, you're out of your ever loving mind if you think some girl who won't win American Idol, and probably won't be in the top 5 is "way better than Taylor Swift." I am sorry to be so blunt, but yeah you are. Completely.

I think she was probably referring more to the fact that Taylor kinda butchered Rhiannon on TV a few weeks ago (I personally didn't think it was that bad) but Didi did a pretty good job on it. But ya, Taylor is the whole package, sings, writes and is pretty damn cute. No way Didi matches her.
