If Dallas had an elite D they'd be set. They had the #1 scoring offense. The problem is they don't have the DT's to be elite. The DE's aren't that great either, unfortunately

Because the NFL is trying to cater to the fantasy football nerds. I mean they post fantasy points for players in stadium during the game these days. Not enough fantasy stat measurables on defense and that generation is too dense to enjoy a good hard fought defensive battle.

Yea , I forget about Fantasy. These fringe fans are what the league is attempting to attract instead of building defenses to win a championship.

No more of Doomsday, Steel Curtain , Purple People Eaters, Fearsome Foursome and Monsters of the Midway.

I don’t care what you think it sounds like. I haven’t defined what an Elite defense is like I did QB. That reference was meant to read if we didn’t have an Elite defense then top 5-10 would go a long way.

One of the greatest all time . Unfortunately there’s not 30 more like him in the league to go around.

And while I’d put his talent up there with some of the greatest all time his team accomplishments have come up short with only one championship . And why he may not be in the same conversation as others with multiple rings in NFL history.

GB will have four HOF QBs within the next decade. Rodgers is better than Favre. I only saw Starr at the tail end of career but his playoff numbers are impeccable. Arnie Herbert was way before my time.
