We all know that TO likes center stage and all the attention he can get, even inclined to tantrums once and a while, and his practice garb is far from the norm as well. And we all know he's one of, if not, the most talented WR's on the planet.
What gets me is the headlines and articles, and minutiae being published because the guy is fashionably the last one on the practice field or the exaggerated sulks after a bad practice session.
Yes, we are that bored. The season opener cant get here fast enough.:p:

Most of his teammates did not say they wanted him back. Most of his teammates did not say they never had a problem with him. I'm not bashing the guy for 'everything'. I'm only saying that in a losing environment he hurts you more than he helps you get better. A team isn't 'torn apart' in the damned off-season. The players had very little to deal with in regards to Owens. It wasn't until they started losing games that players were being asked dozens of questions about T.O., daily, and in some cases under the strain felt like they had to publically side with or against Owens. They're not psych majors, they can't rationally sift through Owens` drama like a head coach. When they become a part of it they can't handle it and it affects their focus and attention towards getting better.

oh please, the players were being asked questions about TO because Reid had freaking suspended him, not because they were losing. If you didnt notice the Eagles werent really doing all that bad untill they suspened owens, and didnt even alow him in the team facilites.

And your first statement is false, as i saw many reports come out about San fran and Eagles members saying they woudl welcome him back to the team. I also seem to remember many of his teammates and former teamates comeing to his "party"

But hey, your right. im wrong conecede defeat

if there's one thing we've learned about T.O. it's that he's different.

consequentially, he needs to be treated differently.

as long as the coaching staff recognizes that, we'll never have a problem.

sounds like he's just being a competitor out there, and if you don't like that, you probably like losing.
In other words, do whatever it takes to not piss off el dorado.

This attitude makes me sick. Screw the dude, if he cant play within our system, trade his *** to Atlanta for a 7th rounder in 2020. That should bring el dorado back to earth.

When you enable someone to behave in a disruptive manner or self distructive manner, they will. Every time. Quit enableing el dorado to be a bad boy and he wont be one. Pretty simple really. Dont know why so many smart pple cant figure that one out. You think he would be sitting on top of the world if no team had of even talked to him this year. Stupid Jones, Here take 10 million and go do what you want.

If this really happened, it would be all over the news by now. Even a spotter or two from our site would have seen it unless it was a closed practice(which it wasn't).

I don't really care what you think you remember. You won't find quotes from 'most' of the team saying they never had a problem with him. That was the statement you made and it was indeed false. The media really began hounding the team after T.O. went on TV to, for the second time, bash his teammate and coach following a bad loss to Denver.

It's one thing to be upset. It's another thing to act out, even if it's subtle. It's a whole different thing when you act out, even subtlely, when you're Terrell Owens on a new team.

With so much pressure on this guy to stay in line, he should be following protocol. Obviously we don't know much about the situation, but even sitting in the wrong place doesn't seem like a great idea for Owens at this point.
You mean like Sean Taylor follows protocol? (Show me where spitting in someone's face is protocol.) Go throw bricks in your own glass house.

Funny thread.

Wow I can't believe some of you are gonna take one version of a set of events and run with it. No one even knows what they were talking about. Similar to when Ellis and Bill had an "animated" conversation. Folks thought they were arguing...and they weren't.

TO could very well be mad. Maybe the transition isn't going well for him. But for all intents and purposes, he's as good as advertised. The problem is the O is waaay behind the D right now. And almost every recap reiterates that.

First of all, the original quote came from Fisher. Doesn't that tell you something?

Secondly, I'll point out that there have been at least 2 fights in camp already between other players. Should we now get hysterical about those players, or is it possible that in the heat of battle competitors get hot headed?

I'm not defending TO. He's a prima donna & always will be. But if you think that little incident is any different that what Key would do at times in TC or Chad Johnson or Randy Moss or any other number of WRs, then you're kidding yourselves. They're high-strung & emotionally stunted. As Parcells said (about Key but applies here), he likes to chirp. Let him chirp. It's like dealing with a 12-year-old (which is what he is, mentally). He pouts, sulks, whines to teacher, then it's over.

Let's not go overboard just because it's TO. Why don't we see what happens thru TC & on into the season, shall we? Bottom line, we're stuck with the guy, so why read things into one minor incident? I seriously doubt Parcells is going to let him behave in a way that's detrimental to the team. I also seriously doubt this is the first time that scenario has happened, tho with other players, but never got reported because they're not TO. (Take a gander at Terry Glenn's past history if you doubt that. The only coach he's ever behaved for is Parcells, & that includes Belichek.)

That's a hypocritical comment there considering all the malcontents the skins have and have had over the years.

I'm not being hypocritical. The word has a precise meaning. I never said the skins never had any malcontents. Owens is a primadonna. It's all about him.

Just like Portis is all about Portis, & Taylor is all about Taylor. Every team has 'em.

And having them, shouldn't preclude fans of a certain team from calling other teams' players out for being prima-donna's. There is no rule for that, that I am aware of.

Our Skins friend, should however, have waited a little before rolling his lot into an unsubstantiated report.

Uh, no. Both those guys are team players. If I were to list primadonnas of the Commanders past, I'd say:

Lavar Arrington
Michael Westbrook
Lavernanues Coles
maybe Joe Theismann

I'm sure there are others.

I'm really surprised that your list consists entirely of ex-Commanders players.

Um, yeah, you want to think Taylor is a team player, feel free. Just like he's been such a team player all along, working out with the team, going to the required NFL rookie meetings, not blowing off Gibbs' phone calls (oh wait, that only happened AFTER he got arrested & realized he might need Danny-Boy's money to help get him out of trouble). And Portis, uh huh, he's such a team player too. That's why he was whining in season one that Gibbs expected too much of him. (I live in DC, so I'm fully aware of those incidents.) Let's see what happens when the 'stinks have some tough times.

Thereby stating that there are no prima-donnas on the Skins now.

And that's just not true.

(I know what he was doing.)

Oh, & I'll add another primadonna for you redstinks fans--Antwaan Randle El. Just wait. Let's see what happens with him the first time he doesn't get a pass thrown his way, or a badly thrown one. You're totally kidding yourselves if you think he isn't a prima donna. There's a reason the Steelers were willing to let him go.
