Can't imagine it happening but then again, Arizona will have a contract and cap issue to contend with regardless...Is he worth a #1?...Absolutely

Were all drooling over wht could be or what might happen but the truth is hes under contract for 3 more years at very cap friendly numbers. Shouldnt we be a little wary that his agent (whom got him that deal in the first place) could actually influence him to hold out just because the WR opposite him, whom was drafted in the top of the 1st round and not the 2nd got a new contract.

So far its just a bunch of rumors and thats the bottomline. I realize its a boring offseason and theres not that much to talk about but cant we just take it easy until its a real possibility?

You'd rather have Desean Jackson than Anquan Boldin? Are you crazy?

Jackson "could" solve 2 position problems, WR and KR not to mention that his rookie contract would be quite a bit less than Bouldins. I think its called "building through the draft."

Not much difference between, what could be, what might happen, bunch of rumors and real possibility. Therefore, I have to question your use of the words truth and bottom line. I mean you are the WHOM said it it, right?

Hey sorry that I wasnt an English major but apparently you got my point. I mean its gone from Chad Johnson , Javon Walker , Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald. So far none of them have come to fruition. I stated that it gets boring in the offseason but I think this belongs in the Fantasy forum with some of the other bogus crap that floats around. The Cardinals have no benifet in trading Boldin, none.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned - other than in the original post - is Boldin's agent also represents TO. Not sure if there would be any fallout from that, but I can see TO appealing to Rosenhaus to try and get it done. TO's not stupid - OK, maybe a little - but he knows the receivers need help. Why not lobby your agent to get another incredibly gifted receiver on the team? Just a thought.

I can also see Jerrah restructuring contracts (Romo, Williams, Gurode) to find the money to make it work. Just because we don't have much cap room now doesn't mean they can't create it to get a player they want.

No, because you said it yourself. It's off the offseason and there's not much else to talk about. And because it's the offseason, any rumor at all is plausible until training camp.

I hear ya' brother. But we as fans are a lot like those women standing at the checkout at Wal-mart, just can't resist snatchin' up one of those celebrity magazines with those outrageous headlines.
I have used it as a positive with my wife and daughters. It makes for great conversation at the dinner table to combine my love of the Cowboys and their love for celebrity gossip, i.e. Britney, Jessica.
We had quality family time when Emmit was bouncing his dancin' butt all over the stage on dancin' with the stars.
I didn't really mean to bag on ya' about your grammar.I was trying to inject a lil' humor. This is the part where people bag on me about my lame attempt at being humorous.:

Thanks. We do have some, and have had some of the most knowledgeable and respected women posters on this board.W.G and LTN. are just two to name a few that I have a tremendous amount of respect for. There are others, but I'm only on my second cup of coffee and home with two sick kids, it's raining like crazy, and I am having brain crapulations, so the names escape me.How's that for a good cover?

Keep it working. But, now you're just trying to show off for the ladies. It's all good though.

Desean "could" be a lot of things, Boldin is already a star. I don't think it's that complicated. There is a reason why he's going to get paid.

I don't want to take the Dolphins-Ginn approach to drafting a WR. Draft a skinny, undersized WR in the 1st round and then hold a press conference where you explain how he'll be a "Hell of a kick returner." to a chorus of "BOO!". No thanks.

Your sig. line is classic. Judging from your avatar, one can assume you would lead the chorus of "boo-ya". I know it's lame, sorry.
